NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

Other than Texas/Michigan in 2005, every Rose Bowl since 2004 has had USC.

Just once, I want someone else in the Pac-10 to represent that conference.

I hope Oregon State wins out.

BTW, even if USC gets in, they won't win. Their offense is too weak. I don't care how good their defense is.

I'm with you on this, I'm tired of the Big Ten having to play a road game against a HOME team in a bowl game.

Is it just me or is Oklahoma is starting to remind me of the old-school run-and-shoot Houston Cougars?

Conider:

Oklahoma has been pouring on the points since they lost to Texas- 45, 58, 62, and 66 points against their four overmatched opponents.

Kinda starting to remind me of the Houston Cougars of Andre Ware and David Klingler, who run it up to impress the voters. I think Bradford's in that same situation,
They get those points up by halftime, and spend the rest of the game trying NOT to score.

They can not do this, remember, it was illegal for OSU and Michigan to play back to back games, should be the same here.
It wasn't illegal, the pollsters just knew that Michigan wasn't worthy of being in the MNC over Florida (and USC proved that 32-18, as did Florida 41-14).

As it is though, I doubt the loser of Alabama/Florida will get in, as the Big 12 has a strong contender in the winner of Texas Tech/Oklahoma (or Texas if Texas Tech/Oklahoma loses in the Big 12 Championship game).

Ball State, class of the MAC, has 3 remaining games, all scheduled during the week on a Tuesday or Wednesday night. It's almost a forgone conclusion that as long as they stay undefeated, they will also be aired nationally on ESPN.

Tonight is the first of 3 remaining games on their quest to go 12-0.

Thanks for the heads up, I knew about the game but was unsure if it was on TV or not.
