NFL 2024-2025 Season

It's what the baseball Yankees have been doing for over 100 years.

It's really not. The salary cap (both a ceiling and a floor) prevents the kind of inequities you see in baseball.

DHop has 15 catches on 21 targets through 6 games this season on a bad Titans team. Before the season began he was playing through a damaged MCL.

He's not the player he was 3-4 years ago that people are imagining the Chiefs are getting.

I hope not. This whole dynasty thing sucks when it isn't your team winning all the time. ;)

This year, it appears to be Baltimore as the primary competition unless Buffalo hits their stride like the Giants did when they toppled the Patriots and stopped the 19-0 season.

Talk about convoluted thinking. the Raiders give up 5, count em 5, touchdowns so they fire the offensive co-ord, the offensive line coach and the QB coach. Yeah, that'll help. Maybe they're just trying to scare the defense? Oh, and forget the fact they have NO NFL caliber QB.

Kansas City are 7-0. With a differential of 50 pts. The New England Patriots in their one sack / helmet catch away from a perfect season were +159 point differential at Week 7.

Meanwhile, the Patriots who were riding the longest win streak of the season at 1 game, lost in overtime. It was penalty stuffed match up, that saw the Patriots comeback very late to send it to OT. So, overall, not very disappointing. Tennessee's QB was making his receivers work for it to catch the ball with all the bad targeting. Maye ran the ball pretty well, for over 70 yards. I'd say that is great, but the real issue was there was no one to throw it too.

In Cleveland, the fans came back down to Earth after their team upset the Ravens. They were soundly beaten in a game that had "soundly beaten" written all over it. The owner continues looking to move the Browns from their ancient stadium built only a couple decades ago to Brookpark in an attempt to... I don't know. If you are going to put the team in Brookpark, why not back in Richfield? Cleveland ponders switching Burke Lakefront Airport to a domed stadium because... maybe we'll get one or two more concerts in Cleveland? Why not just play in that place the taxpayers haven't finished paying for yet?

Lions are 7-1 proving that miracles can happen and maybe I'll see the Saints and Lions win a Super Bowl in my lifetime.

Lions have built one of the Best teams out there ...
Have a very good coach that believes in his players and the Owner Finally hired a Capable GM, and stays out of the way.

Chiefs have 2 or 3 games left that they could lose ....

That Steelers game will be a really good test, but on short rest coming out of that Texans game, and the Steelers just as little rest coming out of a game against the Ravens, which is almost always a slugfest leaving both teams gassed - who knows what either team will look like on Christmas, lol.

Any given Sunday and all that, they tend to lose a couple games a year they shouldn't, they ball will bounce one too many times not in their favor soon I expect.

They could win out and not be considered the best team in the league though, the Lions are solid and legit. Yet Buccaneers almost had the distinction of having beaten them both, if only they'd gone for 2.

Yeah, I didn't understand that. If you go for two and make it, you've only got to stop Mahomes once, with 27 seconds left. As it was, they had to stop him twice in a row, once in regulation then again in overtime. That's a tall order.

I mean the worst that could happen is that they fail on the two point try and lose...............which is what happened anyway.

So after that umm... Bears performance against New England... how are they 4-5? They looked more like 0-9.

The Tomlin haters are having troubles at the moment. Defeated the Ravens, who drop to 7-4. Steelers are 8-2... one game behind the Chiefs, half a game behind the Bills!

Looks like the Eagles are in top form now.
