Difference between Kershaw and Verlander , is they are both pitching well and going deep into games, but J.V. gave up 2 runs in 8 innings and lost, while Kershaw has managed to win some of his great starts.
Verlander over all has been given better support over all, but the Tigers O tends to go to sleep at critical times.

Yeah. Offenses seem to go to sleep whenever their aces pitch, even if they pitch against not so good pitchers.

Man! Can the Yankees situation with ARod get any uglier? Now the Yankees' brass are asking him to release health records and telling him to "put up or shut up"! This is (I fear) just the beginning of the ugliness, too. Just a terrible tarnish on famed franchise and the game overall.

Why some pitcher just doesn't take ARod out with a fastball to the head is beyond me. He is turning this circus into a disgusting mess by his very presence in the game. This is sickening to watch.
