I make fun of A-roid as much as anyone, but the league is playing high stakes poker with him. I don't begrudge him his opportunity to have this matter arbitrated. He's one of a few hundred players taking PEDs... no worse, no better and no different.

I don't agree with KC in this case, but I fail to see the syllogism connecting his view of ARod to not being a fan of baseball.

I don't like him either, but you want him to either be seriously injured or dead. That's wrong.
It's pretty simple. With so many players just as guilty as ARod is, to only want him to be at least seriously injured means that he doesn't have any more respect for the game than ARod has.
A-roid has no respect for the game because he cheated. Maybe we can dredge up the threads about how baseball is a game that reveres cheating.
I agree about ARod, but with so many players that have used PEDs, to single him out as the bad guy deserving of injury is stupid.
Correct. I for one am not a big A-Rod fan and hate the Yankees even more, but Dempster is a coward. There is a process in place in the current CBA AND Dempster was a union rep for almost a decade, he knows the procedure. TWO, it was reported ON FRIDAY, that two pitchers bitched about him being a rat. He should have confronted him like a man then if it bugged him so much.

I lost my cool last night and I apologize, guys. I really don't want to see ARod hurt, but I am just so f^%*ing sick and tired of his constant distraction from the game itself. Last night really was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. All set in for a good Sunday night game and all they talked about was the circus that is now ARod vs. Yankees' management and then the plunking and the fighting and the ejections. All because of ARod's mere presence in the game! It just sent me over the top.

Correct! That rivalry has been water down drastically. It's over exposed. It was good when less games were on TV, but with all the cable channels showing games.... It just has become too much.
