2011-12 NFL Season

Let's totally throw a wrench in the works. Let's keep Kyle Orton, trade Tim Tebow to the Dolphins,& devote the 2011 season to drafting Andrew Luck in the 2012 draft(I really believe that is who Stanford alumn John Elway REALLY wants).

If that's what they want, then like Cutler before him they trade the best QB on the roster and get rid of Kyle Orton.

With Tebow starting I expect a solid mediocre draft pick for Denver, well away from the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.

Probably pretty difficult to top the implosion in Cincinnati that Mike Brown is doing to his team, must really want Luck.

Pats getting ready for a superbowl run

IMO I think the Pats are making a mistake getting Chad Johnson. He's just like T.O. a lot of talk but can't deliver when it matters.

OchoStinko and Albert Haynesworth ....

Yikes, Two Me, Me, Me Guys and malcontents to boot.

Pats must be bored, now they have a few reclamation projects.

This is what the Raiders of the 70s use to do....and get the best out of "reclamation projects".

The Dolphins DIDN'T try to sign Vince Young? Seriously? I just read that VY has signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. Either the dolphin REALLY believe that they are going to get Kyle Orton,or they believe that Chad Henne is the answer after all. Are they planning on basing the Wildcat & their entire offense around Reggie Bush?

My only guess is that the Dolphins are intentionally trying to tank this season & get a head start on the 2012 Andrew Luck sweepstakes. Luck really threw a wrench into NFL teams' when he decided to forgo the 2011 draft & return to Stanford for another season. Does anybody seriously believe that Cam Newton was the Carolina Panther's first choice for QB? There will be more teams fighting to get the first round draft in 2012(& Andrew Luck) than who'll be trying to win the Super Bowl. It wouldn't surprise me if the Indianapolis Colts also tried to get into the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.

But players of the 70's care more about winning than those two players do.

pats didn't give up much for those two players . if it works out its a huge plus for the pats. if it doesn't you didn't lose much at all. thats the way to look at it

eagles haven't signed young. he needs to get on waivers first before a team can speak with him.today at 4pm teams can do that

More overnight moves...

-All the Pats gave up for OchoStinko was a 5th round pick in 2012 and a 6th in 2013. Another bargain bin find by Kraft and Co.

-WR Roy Williams agrees to contract in Chicago

-Braylon Edwards is getting emotional on Twitter since he's pretty much figured out the Jets aren't going to re-sign him. He's since erased the tweets.

-Darren Sproles is going to New Orleans to replace Reggie Bush.

-Falcons signed Julio Jones

-Former Packers RB, Brandon Jackson agrees to 2 year deal with Browns! You can never have enough RB depth in the NFL. The Browns now have Hillis, Montario Hardesty, Mike Bell and Jackson. Looks like we're getting back to smash mouth football.

-Texans reach a deal with former Cincy CB, Johnathan Joseph

-Jags sign Blaine Gabbert

-Chicago trades TE Greg Olsen to Panthers for PTBNL

-Broncos sign Von Miller

-In the Kevin Kolb to Arizona deal, the Eagles will get Rodgers Cromartie and a 2nd round pick. Kolb gets a 5-year, $63.5 million with $21 mill guaranteed deal.

-San Francisco to release Nate Clements
