Sirius Renewal

Drat! We missed the Cancel and Renew for Another Year (CRAY) so we got charged for one month of full price ($18.99) on Mrs. Foxbat’s Regal. Got the $5.99/mo. for Music & Entertainment package.

I should have jumped into this thread before I fired up the chat so I could say, “Well, so-and-so says they’re getting $4.99/mo, and someone else is getting three years for $3.50/mo.” Maybe in September when the Volvo comes due.

While were looking at the Holiday offerings, I by chance checked my subscription ...
I'm good till Feb ...
I always renew on Chat or calling in ...
They show the Platinum package for my 2 radios going up $20 p/m ...

Again, no one pays the posted price, don't know why they try to get away with those prices.

SiriusXM just merged my new car Platinum subscription into my long-term Sirius account. They want $23+/month to continue it. That's not a reasonable expectation when I'm paying $6+fees/month for my docking radio.

I'm not interested in what's available. I want to know if they can give me the same deal as last year ($60 yr.). If not, adios. $60/yr + fees is all its worth to me. Not a penny more.

we have to renew in july it's going to be interesting to see what deals they pull out of there hats!!! right now we have the platinum package. getting that via an invoice was like getting blood from a turnip!!! they refused to send us an invoice for the platinum package i said cancel. that got there asses moving. they gave in after i said your willing to lose a good paying customer over BS!!! though they don't have to nor do i have to remain a customer. but having service since 07 and the bills have always been taking care of should say something

SiriusXM called me yesterday about my recent car purchase. They offered six months of Music & Entertainment for ~$30.

I told them I'd consider my options when my Platinum subscription expires. It seems to me that I should be able to get two radios for significantly less than twice the price of one radio.

I think I'll ask them to give me a bundle price from here on out.

So, what happened when you Chatted in or Called to see if they would give you last years programming ?

After about 10 minutes of back and forth on chat they told me that they couldn't honor my previous year rate. They said it wasn't available any more. I didn't have any more time to chat so I told them to cancel my subscription and send me a cancelation notification to my email. I made sure I was grabbing screenshots of the conversation along the way in case I needed them at a later date. They did as I asked. A few days later I started getting the "We want you back" offers via email. All of which were at a rate that was higher than I was unwilling to pay. Then about 3 weeks after I canceled I got a snail mail postcard. They were offering me 1 year for $60 plus fees. Which is what I was asking for before canceling. That's a really crappy business model if you ask me.

Actually, it sounds like the $60 deal you got a few years back was a Deal and after a few years, they decided they were only going to offer it to you for so long.

Sounds like you work for SiriusXM. My only regret is that I spent a microsecond explaining my situation to you. i.e. The service only being worth ~ $60 per year to ME. Shame on me for taking your baiting. Bye bye Jimbo or whatever your name is. I think I explained my situation in the most simple terms possible. I'm deeply sorry if you lack the grey matter to comprehend what I'm saying. Anyway, have a great night, if that's possible. Ciao.
