Well, I know the chances are small, but I'm hoping that after a 6-10 season last year, the Detroit Lions will have a winning season this year. They ended 2010 with a 4 game winning streak and I think they'll continue that momentum especially if QB Matt Stafford stays 100% healthy throughout the whole season. What's more exciting is that they'll be on Monday night football for the 1st time in 10 years going against the Bears. I'll be optimistic and say the Lions will go at least 10-6 this year and that they'll get a playoff birth for the 1st time in 12 years.
I like the Lions ALOT. And I honestly think they are gonna put a scare in that "black and blue" division. Unless the Bears do some serious signing...I will say from an outsider looking in, they could be a 2nd place team at 9-7 or better.
10-6 ?
I would be thrilled with 10-6 ... realistically, if they make it to 9-7 they may make the playoffs and that record would be considered a VERY GOOD year.
10 wins and they will be the talk of the league !
