From www. espn.com Unrestricted free agent QB Aaron Brooks, the former New Orleans Saints starter released last week after the Saints signed Drew Brees, has reached agreement on a 2 year contract with the Oakland Raiders.League sources said that his compensation will be commensurate to that of many starters in the league, averaging between $4-5 million. The contract will be signed later this week.Kerry Collins was recently released, for salary cap considerations, opening the door for the deal with Brooks.

ARGH! I can see I will be looking up yet again. Signing Brooks mean we know we need a QB that can RUN AWAY from the sacks. NO O-LINE!

Cowboys sign Vanderjagt

Panthers signed Keyshawn
