110/119 Listings Post 129 Transition (Updated 9/2/2024)

Hey zippy, since you're in the Chicago DMA, check to see if you're now getting WTVK-59 HD in your locals lineup...DISH's website is now indicating this, though they have it listed as from Peoria.
I do not receive it via Dish. However, WTVK is available OTA - it is ShopHQ. I have received 59 OTA for a couple of years now. I just checked Dish's website and sure enough it is listed as a Chicago local - but it does not show up as a satellite local. Thanks for pointing that out on the Dish website - I didn't see that update.

I did my monthly scan, and the only thing I noticed different is that the cycling Boost Mobile ad, which was previous on channel 9547, was removed. That frees up one more HD slot on 110, TP 14. No other movements between transponders. The Cozi slate is on 110, TP 24, which is the same location Cozi was before it went into dispute.

Is there any conus local channels still available?
I don't know for sure. Before 129 was shut down, there were a couple of markets that were on the continental transponders. The one thing I would say is that from all the scans that I have done, I don't have any channels on 110 TP 6, and that conus transponder had locals before the changes.

I did a scan today after the uplink occurred, and everything is still status quo for the channels I can see on my VIP211k. The only thing that I noticed a week or two ago is that channel 9547 is back - a new Boost Mobile ad.

Dish just had an uplink to add the Yule Log channels. On channels 298 (Modern Yule Log) and 304 (Classic Yule Log). They are on 110, TP 24. Same transponder location as last year. However, they have the Modern Yule log on 298 this year whereas last year it was on 303, right next to the Classic Yule Log.

80 is the previous Christmas Dish Scapes, also on 110, TP 24.
