The regular season ends two weeks from today, and things are tighter than ever in both conferences. Only Boston, Washington and New Jersey in the East, and San Jose and Detroit in the West have clinched playoff berths to this point.
In the East, Philadelphia, Carolina and Pittsburgh all appear to be locks.
That leaves two spots remaining among NY Rangers, Montreal, Florida and Buffalo. There's only five points separating those four teams.
Things are even tighter in the West. Calgary, Chicago, Vancouver and Columbus are all in very good shape.
That leaves only two spots remaining among Nashville, St. Louis, Edmonton, Anaheim and Minnesota. Those five teams are only separated by four points.
It should be a very exciting and interesting last two weeks! :up

Anaheim has been in and out of the playoffs (sometimes when not even playing) this week more times than a drunken Uncle gets disowned by his family!

Big game for both teams. The Devils are one point behind Washington for the #2 seed in the East. The Rangers who are fighting for their playoff lives, are currently the #7 seed only 1 point ahead of Montreal and 2 points ahead of Florida.
San Jose at Calgary- 9:30pm ET
Sharks are 2 points ahead of Detroit for HIA throughout the playoffs. Flames are 1 point ahead of Vancouver for first place (and #3 seed) in the Northwest division.
Dallas at Phoenix- 10:00pm ET (Versus-HD)
Meaningless game, so WHY is Versus showing this instead of San Jose-Calgary??
