I would put the Steeler's in the middle of that pack, much higher IF they were healthy
I would go at least 5 in the current state.
You really think the Skins, Panthers, Buc's, Pats, Bears and Bronco's are better than the Steeler's ?

You make me laugh :D

Time for our weekly choices for 'NFL Player of the Week.'

My choice was originally going to be Drew Brees- 23-35, 363 yards, 3 touchdowns
(He has nearly 1,000 passing yards already!)

Instead, I'm going with a different type of choice- Matt Bryant.

The Bucs kicker's infant son tragically passed away earlier this week at 3 months of age.

The fact that he was able to suit up for this game, let alone kick three field goals, makes him my personal choice for NFL Player of the Week.

But they are not healthy.....about the most banged up team in the NFL right now.

You know, woulda, coulda, shoulda.........OH MY GOD I TURNED INTO SALSADANCER!

:yikes

:D :D :D

BTW...My player of the week, The "F" word.....Psych..... :D

Santana Moss, WAS: 8 catches, 145 yards...when the Skins needed a big play he was there.

Raiders who? They suck.

The Bengals sucked big time (choke job)

Dallas was hypnotized by the Redskins for 45 minutes.

Eagles.....with westbrook out, their running game is awful, they need to draft another HB or FB next year that can run through people instead of trying to avoid them the whole time.

Denver, man, they got dominated by KC.....sad defense.

Rams, you kidding me right? Have the lead and everything was going their way until the 3rd QT....they should run more....such a wasted team, with a wasted talent of QB, if they are not going to use Bulger, might as well trade him to bring another competitive receiver.

Vikings, AP is not your only answer, you have to get your passing game go more...if not, you are toasted in the playoffs..

San Diego, they are just lucky, they can't start off a game decently. Thanks to the raiders choke job, they got the W.

Jacksonville, for the 2nd week in a row, Scobee saves the team with a field goal.

Houston Texans, you guys on 4th QT clearly sucked!, How could David Garrard run on you guys the whole time? The last time I checked, he was a QB!. Houston handed the game to the Jaguars by letting Garrad be the 3rd HB on the field. If you don't know what happened, make sure you guys look at the highlights.

Browns and Bengals, when you put 2 crappy teams together, you get one massive crappy game.

Panthers vs Caroline, good game.

Bengals didn't exactly choke- they didn't have a big lead.

Are you sure you got it right?

I got ST, I watch all of the games....and by far that was a horrible game.
I am sure of what I saw, and that was just a poor performance.
Their QB held on to the ball for too long.

"Fat-Tub-of-GOO" does it AGAIN, decent lead and chokes it way. I could almost swear that he is doing this thing on purpose to be the NEXT ex-Raiders head football coach.

San Diego, sorry...like I stated before, Merriman was your rock. They will struggle to make the playoffs.

Denver...HAHA! Forget the loss, ANYONE can beat anyone on any given Sunday.
But you gave up 33 points to THAT OFFENSE?! Yep, their decline will start very soon.....easy part of the schedule is done.

Other observations.....

Buffalo, great job yesterday...you win the games you SHOULD WIN. Now it's time to beat the teams your not suppose to beat.

Washington is really showing me something.....

And so are the Bears, Bucs and Jags.....

There should be some fines and suspension on that hit on Bolden.

Consider Vince Youngs' season done...there is NO WAY you take out Kerry Collins now!

HD MM,
The Browns will also get a break in the NY Giants game.
Plexico will still be serving his suspension, Giants are off next week ...
Wait a minute, I wonder if Plexico's suspension was a 2 week or a 2 game suspension ?

Jimbo

As Chris said, Plex will only miss next weeks game against Seattle. He will be back for the Monday Night game against the Browns.

T-Minus 9 hours until Salsa's latest Raiders-inspired meltdown...

No meltdown...just upset that the Fat-Bastard Ryan is the one that SHOULD be held accountable for these meltdowns and yet the concentration is on Kiffin. IF Ryan did not have his head so far Davis' a$$ that they share a toothbrush....he would have been gone by now. Kiffin has no say in the defense.....

OMG....I have now become the Paul Wozniak of the Raiders!;)

END ROB RYAN ABORTION NOW!!!!!

Don't worry, Salsa. At least the 'U' is doing good. What's that? They LOST to North Carolina? Oh well, never mind.

LMAO....young team...but The U will be fine! I figure that ONCE AGAIN, Oklahoma will be "the greatest team" to EVER play organized sports, like every year...then get their a$$ handed to them like just about every year to a team like Colorado or Baylor or Texas A & M. So I would say, enjoy while you can....;)
