NFL 2008-09 Season

Sorry Salsadancer....but since the coaching change have played the worst football of any team in the NFL....and have flat out QUIT!

These are the scores of their games after the 3rd Quarter this season:

Week 1 DEN 27 OAK 0
Week 2 OAK 13 KC 0
Week 3 OAK 16 BUF 7
Week 4 OAK 15 SD 3

Since the Bye Week(and coaching change):

Week 6 NO 24 OAK 3
Week 7 BAL 19 OAK 0
Week 8 OAK 10 NYJ 3
Week 9 ATL 24 OAK 0

They still have most of their starters on offense and defense...they have no excuse....you tell me what this shows.....I'll say it.

THEY HAVE QUIT!

They have had their 2 best running backs together only for 2 games(Fargas has missed almost 4 games and McFadden has missed 3 and counting). They have NO WIDE RECEIVERS worth spit on this team and the ones that have promise are projects.

THEREFORE GENIUS....there is not ENOUGH offense to sustain long drives, THEREFORE the defense is on the field WAY TOO MUCH...THEREFORE they have given up ALOT OF POINTS late in games. Check the stats when it comes to time of possesion....and then come back to me with some meaningful non-hating facts.....

EDIT:

Time of Possession for the season:

Raiders approx. 24 minutes
Opponents approx. 36 minutes

You really do have a dislike for Coach Cowher don't you.

I wish he would come back to Pittsburgh ....
Tomlin has shown me NOTHING, he doesn't spark the team, doesn't really do anything, just stares ....
btw, the O Line STILL STINKS ...

How long is HIS contract ?

Jimbo

He got on my last nerve.

ONE at QB.....that is it! We had a 2nd all around pick in Robert Gallery(who is FINALLY playing his natural position of RT after 2 years trying to make him a LT) and THIS year was McFadden(#4 overall)....who has shown plenty of promise but has been hampered by injuries(has missed 3 straight games).

So what OTHER VERY TOP picks do you THINK we have??!!:rolleyes:

Sounds like more talent than Detroit has. We scored last week. You can do the rest of the math. Or maybe we're both wrong in our assessment of each other's talent?

Your team is the most perplexing team I have ever seen...then it's simple. You have absolutely NO ONE to throw to the WR. We have NO ONE to throw TO!

And if ANYONE thinks that this revolving head coaching merry-go-round has not affect the team...then they know NOTHING about football....or sport in general.

Oh it most certainly has, and it is affecting your team, just the same as all the losing in Detroit perpetuates more losing. Really hard to come into work anywhere, when management is in turmoil. It affects everyone in the organization from the players to the hot dog vendors. Hard to give your best effort when those above you are incompetent. So is it any surprise when that attitude shows up on the field?

Relax Salsa, it won't always be this way. It's not Detroit!

LMAO!! F***ing Al Davis and Fidel Castro are like bad weeds, you spray them...you hope they are dead...and a damn new weed pops out! EVERY TIME I see Al Davis....I see this:

Thats called having a GREAT Fan base and fans that travel well.

Dude, Steelers fans don't travel. When you see Steelers fans in another city's stadium, those are people that LIVE there. Piss and black fans are everywhere!

Of course...... it's easy to root for a team that's gone 39 years without a record worse than 5-11. If they started losing every year like the team I root for, you wouldn't see people painting their mailboxes any more.

He couldn't even make it through one season? At least the other high-profile Bay Area CB- Nate Clements- has still managed to keep his job in San Francisco!

The Raiders couldn't win a flag football game.

They aren't a team that quits, but I have seen better offensive performances in a flag football game.

OTOH, I don't think Oakland could win a game of touch football.

Oh geeeezz....and yet they beat a team that completey DOMINATED you Bills and the Bills needed a last second field goal AT HOME to beat the Raiders by one. As much as what has happened to my Raiders....that statement as alot about your Bills.
