NCAA Basketball 2008-09 Season

What a win North Carolina Tar heel with an amazing game of Roy Williams. I am looking for a skin of the team for my laptop and mobile phone. I can't wait for the NCAA Basketball tournament now.

Kent State wins a squeaker over Buffalo in overtime! Suck that Sabres! ;):D

The Golden Flashes advance to play their last regular season game this Sunday against their arch rival, Akron Zips on Sunday.

Then, onto Quicken Loans Arena for the annual MAC Conference Tourney. BTW, I have tickets to the 4 day event!

BTW, will we have a thread about the NIT?

I did some research and found out that St. John's has 5 NIT trophies; you think you-know-who gets teary-eyed when her beloved Red Storm hoisted that trophy?

Big tripleheader on CBS Saturday:

UConn-Pitt: 12 noon
Kentucky-Florida: 2:00 pm
Texas-Kansas: 4:00 pm
The first and last games will be good. The Kentucky-Florida will be like an NIT game. I actually hope Florida wins because at least Billy Donovan has job security. Billy Gillispie, OTOH, is going to have to go into hiding if Kentucky loses again.

More like 4ish. I hate games on CBS. I wish ESPN had this game for their Gameday game. CBS will likely miss the first 10 mins of the game as they have done in the past.

I agree. I've been saying for years that CBS should have 2.5 hour windows or , at the very least, another 15 minutes.

No joke. And when you're the 3rd game of a tripleheader, well, that's going run way behind schedule. I just wish CBS would put the games online like they do in the tournament. Even worse the Carolina-dook game will get delayed for the MVC Championship of all things. That game is of interest to about 15 people in Omaha and Peoria.

CBS has had the MVC Championship in that window for the last few years.

I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that they've been some of the most B-O-R-I-N-G games I've ever seen!

Pitt about to beat UConn.

I heard the announcers say that they can be outright Big East champs if West Virginia beats Louisville tonight.

Pittsburgh fans on this site will have to do the unthinkable- root for the Mountaineers!

Oh, and when I was talking about Pitt's awesome home-field advantage- they didn't lose a home game this season, something that some of the other high-ranked teams couldn't do this year.
