I disagree that at NC State is a lock. They have been playing much better lately. BC may still win it but it isn't a lock. State has won two in a row (including one over Wake) and lost at Virgina Tech in overtime or they would've won 3 conference games in a row.

It looks like the Eagles will get the #6 seed in Atlanta next week.

I still think they're in good shape for the NCAA's.......................unless they pull a Harvard and lose to Georgia Tech.

Not a surprise to me for two reasons:

1. Tech is out for some revenge- remember that a year ago, Kansas humiliated Tech 109-51.

2. Remember what the football team did in October? It carries over to other sports as well.

BC and Maryland only met once, and the Eagles won in College Park. Therefore BC would own the tiebreaker over Maryland.

Correct. And BC is not 8-8. They are 8-7 and finish up with GT, so they will likely finish 9-7.

I was hoping that wouldn't happen. Vandy came to play - shot 51 percent against LSU's 31, and on senior night to boot. Hope that's out of their system before tournament play.
