That was crazy, but BC is playing well now.

They have been playing well lately.

cbssports.com (my favorite field projection site) has three ACC teams currently on the bubble: BC, Miami and Maryland.

I don't agree with Miami. I think they should be in and not on the bubble (I realize we have a longgg way to go).

The loss to NC State hurt the Canes, but IMO, they have enough quality wins in a power confernece to get in.

Besides, the ACC deserves seven teams.............not six.

That "performance" against Duke was one of the most patheric games from a team I have ever seen.

Nobody's done a worse coaching job since winning a NC than Gary Williams. Jim Boeheim was close, but Syracuse is decent this year. The DC-Baltimore area is prime recruiting ground, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant are from there, but does Gary sign any of them? No. He prefers CYO players and point guards from Venezeula that turn the ball over 10 times a game. And now he can't get his useless recruits/thugs admitted to the university. The only thing Maryland leads the ACC is anymore is lowest team GPA.

And now Gary is talking his way out of a job.

They have nobody left from that team that started or even came off the bench, so how can you compare those teams to this one?

I was thinking the same thing.


By that logic, the 1980's San Francisco 49ers were a fluke because they suck now.

The main reason most DC area players go to schools other then Maryland is that Maryland has raised the standards for admission since the Len Bias affair. Another thing that has hurt the Terps is the not so well hidden dislike of each other between Gary any Debbie Yow. If Maryland fans want to go back to the Bob Wade days,they don't have to save a seat for me.Plain and simple fact.....NO GARY,NO COMCAST CENTER.

Home losses to Northwestern and Penn St? Michigan St was supposed to be the class of the Big Ten. Were it not for futility of the SEC the Big Ten would be the worst conference in the country.

In 2002 and 2003, I picked Pittsburgh to win it all. Somehow, they gagged to inferior teams.
