Duke not the only team to lose a surpriser on the road.

Pittsburgh lost in Villanova, but that doesn't stun me- Pitt is not the same when they aren't in the comforts of the Oakland Zoo.

Oh, and I can't call Wake over Duke a huge upset.

IMO. this is the REAL shocker of the night:

Cincinnati beats No. 25 Georgetown 65-57 - College Basketball - Rivals.com

The Big East is just crazy! Our Orange men have not faired well laterly, losing 4 of 5. I KNEW that stretch where they played 4 straight teams in the top 15...3 being in the top 10...would show where Syracuse really measured up.:(

Yet another #1 goes down.

Let me make a prediction- the next #1 will be the University of Oklahoma, who will promptly lose to Texas A&M next week and then the cycle continues.

(Hancox can argue until his face turns blue, but OU is playing very good basketball)
.
Blake Griffin is a MONSTER. Baylor was lucky to lose by 19 in Norman. A&M is a second/third tier in the B12.
Nobody in the B12 is in OU's league. Not UT, not KU, not nobody.

P.S. Wake Forest didn't dominate Baylor like OU did.

Oh, and Wake has a pretty easy schedule from here on- Georgia Tech, Miami, Boston College, NC State, Florida State.

1) You're wrong, because you can't justify OU jumping over UConn at this point, because...
2) Call me when the rest of the B12 doesn't suck. :)

OU is good, Griffin is VERY VERY good, but not better than my boys, right now. Sorry.

You are crazy to think that playing Miami, BC and Florida State will be easy....

If OU gets to #1, they'll stay there until the end of February, when they play Texas and KU with one day off in between.

p.s. - I sure hope that the Thunder get that #1 lottery pick, for you-know-who. :)

We have our first upset. Georgia Tech beats Wake Forest 76-74. After perfectly executing an inbounds pass to beat dook the other night, Wake had the same opportunity today and threw the ball away.

One of the oldest cliches in sports is that when you win a big game, it's sometimes hard to bounce back for the next game.

Wake/Georgia Tech is another example of that.

Exactly!

But has there EVER been a bigger example of this when BC beat UNC in Chapel Hill , and then proceeds to lose their next game at home to Harvard?!!
