Hopper Snap

I called Dish and they will only give you a SNAP when they visit your house. They will not send you one. I own a Hopper 1 and would love to speed up the unit. Anyone know of a way to get one sent to you?

It looks like something to use with older Hopper models. The following was pasted from some Internet site:

Huh! Never heard "Snap'. What is the purpose? I Have Hopper 3 and 3 Joey 2 (wired).

The Snap module is for the original Hopper (H1) and the Hopper with Sling (H2). It speeds up the graphics processing for a faster response when loading the guide. It is definitely worth the small amount to get one.

But it does nothing for your Hopper 3 so although inexpensive you don't need it...
