No I'm not joking with sabres. I rip on him he rips on me. I got no issues with that. If I say something that turned out to be way off then everyone is welcomed to rip me as well. Now if you're joking with me that's great. I can take a joke.

LOL you know what my dad always said when my brothers and me were rough housing...it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

Hopefully nobody just lost a proverbial eye!

like I said, I wasn't playing around with sabres. You claim you're joking so perhaps you should take your fathers advice seriously. Did your dad ever mention not to ever get in the way when men are talking?

I never would have thought that FEAR THE BILLS would become one of this thread's funniest running gags. It's taken on a life of it's own (and gives the upcoming Miami-Buffalo game an entertaining hook on here).

We're likely not gonna make the playoffs, but we're gonna make sure the Tebows stay at home with us.

The Bills and Bears are the games I have the Broncos winning to give themselves the lock. Raiders are losing next week no doubt, so the Broncos only need to win 2 of the next 4 games to secure there playoffs.. They got the Bears, Patriots, Bills, and Kansas City... Seems very possible they make the playoffs.. ;)

Bears are really hurting. They may even be so desperate as to call Brett Farve.... Top running back down, QB Down, just a mess. The Broncos have a great shot at winning this game.

The Patriots are a machine. Can the Broncos out score Brady? That will be very tough for them to do. But Von Miller will be healthy and with his partner in the rush VONDOOM will work on keeping brady running the whole game. Of course he is a good QB under presure and his tight ends are always there to help if he needs that short pass. So will be very interesting. The Patriots defense has been very bad against the run and well the Broncos are a great running team. We shall see..

The Bills have been losing like their suppose to. ;) If you asked me 4-5 weeks ago (which I did say) Id say this was a game the Broncos would of lost. But ask me today and I think they have a good shot at winning.

Kansas City.. This of course for Broncos fans will be there super bowl. Tim Tebow vs Kyle Orton. By this time Kyle would of had several weeks in the teams offense to learn and get comfortable. We shall see if Kyle Orton really can make a difference as the Broncos and Tebow already killed the Chiefs once.

I'd compare Tebow's style to the wildcat run a few years ago by Miami. It was successfull for 1 season, then everyone got a good look at it and now it's only used as a "gimmick".

You can not compare the two, as they are completely different. With the wild cat you are pretty one dimensional. With the Spread Option you are 3 and 4 dimensional as far as your options go. Thats the whole point of the spread to "Spread out" the defense. Make them have to cover every single possible offensive choice at once. The long pass, short pass, rb run, qb run, shuffle pass all at once. As any of those options can happen and it is based on the formation the defense plays and how the snap goes.

You need a QB who is good at knowing what option to use at the right time and no one can deny Tim Tebow is the best player to ever run this type of offense.

Aaron Rodgers had a brilliant game plus a winning drive, the Steelers flexed their muscle, and the Texans showed heart with a gutty win.

And yet most of the recent stuff on this NFL Sunday is all about Tebow.

Can we subtitle this thread "Tim Tebow and 31 other NFL teams?"

Is this thread any different than ant of the football programs on the air these days?

Are there any Packer or Texan fans on this board?

Since you are a "new" Broncos "fan", shall we say, you may not know that Denver is 6-1 vs. the "Brady" Patriots. We are the only team that Brady has a losing record against.

You know the Giants might get in the playoffs. If they beat the Cowboys twice and I think they will plus beat the lousy Redskins, which they will, the Giants have a good shot at making the playoffs. I also say that because the Bears lost there qb and there running back plus the Lions have come back down to earth.

As far as the Bills, they have slim and I stress slim playoff chances. Not eliminated yet. I really thought the Bills were going to be a little better but they could end up in last place because the Dolphins have been playing good lately. They could play spoiler.

I am a new Broncos fan, and that is really good to know ;) Thanks for the heads up. I am acutally a new NFL fan. Never really had anyone/team that I enjoyed the follow. Id cheer the bucs only because they are local and I still support them as being the local team. I only dislike Miami cause my best friend is a die hard Miami/Marino fan, his family has a shrine to him. So it was only natural I pick the bucs and root against there team to make watching football more fun.

I am a FLA Gators fan have been since I grew up in my orange and blue diapers ;P and grew very fond of the accomplisments Tim Tebow has had and that entire class. Which is why I do root for Miami sometimes (the Pouncy brother) and The vikings (harvin) Patriots (spikes/hernandez) and so on. I wish these guys great success because they were able to do more for my team then any other class in such a short period of time. Its not often a team gets so many NFL ready starters on one team.

I chose supporting the Broncos more so then the rest because of how much negative attention Tebow was getting. How everyone was saying he would be no good. He would never win. His offense style would not work in the nfl etc.. I watched this kid what 5 years? (I think he redshirted with Chris leak was playing) and saw that he was no doubt a winner and a good QB. Because he makes smart decisions. You can have an amazing arm and be a great passer but make dumb decisions that cost you the game. Tebow has great arm strength (he can throw long and fast often to long and to fast for his receivers to handle the catch) but he has avg accuracy. But he makes up for that with his great ability to keep the play alive, to run the ball, to make the smart pass and not force bad ones when he knows he may get picked.

He has a lot to learn and I would of much preferred and recommended he sit a few years behind a veteran to really learn the NFL, but after watching him play the last 7 games I am now glad he didnt. Because they would of tried to change him to something he wasnt.

I would not say that Tebow has average accuracy. He is 60th out of 65 in the league in accuracy and there are a few tied at 65 with a 0% accuracy. Right now for starting QB's Tebow is pretty much the bottom of the barrel.

Well in those numbers they do not count dropped passes. and as anyone who has watched every snap of his last 7 starts will tell you that adds up to at least 2-3 per game. So when you are only throwing 10-15 times a game that really effects your %.

grab Aerosmith's 1st album and play track 3....
(if you dont know thats "Dream On")

Raiders lost to Miami.....do you really think they can come to the cold and beat Green Bay

But hey if the weather terrorists can be wrong about how much snow we're gonna get I guess I can laugh at your prediction

They didn't just lose to Miami they for all purposes, got shut out. The raiders only scored in the bottom of the 4th qtr when Miamis defense went into protect mode and really stopped playing.

All QB's have to deal with dropped passes and if all QB's have the same average of dropped passes per game it pretty much cancels out your argument. He is still below average as a QB. Now I will say that he is overall a good NFL player but not a good QB.

Giants absolutely have a pretty decent chance...but don't forget, even though they played well yesterday they're still on a losing streak.

Garrett's brain-fart yesterday gave them new life, though.
