Right that was because they got the best Spread Option QB to ever play the game.... ;) The fear of Tebows legs allow a lot more room for Willis and ball to run. It also opens up passing lanes.

You allow your offense to always have 1 free man because the other team has to consider the QB as a player in need of a eye.

You watch, the Broncos will trade for a Terrelle Pryor sitting on the bench in the off season, so they have a player to run the Spread if Tebow should get injured .....

OR

They get beat by the Broncos for the division and now are changing thier offense to the Spread and Pryor will start in Oakland next year !!!!

They do need to find a good back up who can run the spread. If Denver really is serious about Tebow. They will need to draft and trade for spread players next year and become a real big threat. Problem is they will need a good back up for Tebow because if he goes down a traditional passing QB could not play well with Denvers new offense.

Just look how well FLA has done with spread players under a traditional offense and traditional qb.. its a shame really.

If the spread option is going to work in the NFL there is NO ONE better to run it then Tim Tebow. Have to give the others on Denvers offense huge credit for being able to adjust so quickly to the new offense. Specially the linemen and runningbacks/te etc who have to trust there QB to make the right call and to be able to know what hes going to do.

Interesting stat is Tebow only rushed 4 times today. His lowest in all starts, and they scored the most points since Tebows start.

Aaron Rodgers had a brilliant game plus a winning drive, the Steelers flexed their muscle, and the Texans showed heart with a gutty win.

And yet most of the recent stuff on this NFL Sunday is all about Tebow.

Can we subtitle this thread "Tim Tebow and 31 other NFL teams?"

If you started a Tim Tebow thread, would it help ?

Of course it also has nothing to do with how bad the Vikings were today and the points off of turnovers.

So funny, yesterday my husband and I are driving my nephew home from his soccer tournament on Long Island, which we left around 3:45 PM. We have the Jet game on but he's giving us scores from his smart phone...and he says he Vikings and Broncos are tied and Minnesota is getting the ball with a minute something left.

Both my husband and I told him no problem, the intervention is coming and Denver will obviously win. He says we're nuts, the Vikings have the ball, no way Denver will win. A few minutes later he gives us the final score...you just can't make this stuff up!

The young'uns have so much to learn!

I'd compare Tebow's style to the wildcat run a few years ago by Miami. It was successfull for 1 season, then everyone got a good look at it and now it's only used as a "gimmick".

I think the Raiders are going to end Green Bay's perfect season next Sunday

grab Aerosmith's 1st album and play track 3....
(if you dont know thats "Dream On")

Raiders lost to Miami.....do you really think they can come to the cold and beat Green Bay

But hey if the weather terrorists can be wrong about how much snow we're gonna get I guess I can laugh at your prediction

Gotta love how Tebow's success to date is absolutely infurating so many NFL experts. A whole bunch of QB's (including a rookie) threatening Marino's single season yardage record that has stood since 1984? No problem...easy to explain and rationalize.

A guy like Tebow comes into the league, so many people say it can't work...and so far it has? Not so easy to explain...and makes you wonder if these people whose opinions we hang on are worth hanging onto.

Don't mind him. He guaranteed the bills would beat the fins. That Denver would lose a couple of weeks ago or whenever it was. And now the raiders will beat the packers.
When you keep making predictions well eventually you'll get one right :D

Hey...so the guy likes making predictions...so what? Isn't that something people will do in sports forums? He gets them right, he gets them wrong...of course, what's repeated is what he gets wrong.

Don't worry about these guys, Sabres...rey predicted the Dolphins would be in the Luck sweepstakes...shows how smart he is!

When did I say that? What's your problem?

I'm joking, rey...just like you were with Sabres...right? ;)

Anyway, I really did think you said that! If you didn't...I retract that part of my comment.

Sandra
No I'm not joking with sabres. I rip on him he rips on me. I got no issues with that. If I say something that turned out to be way off then everyone is welcomed to rip me as well. Now if you're joking with me that's great. I can take a joke.

and no I never said that. I wished it. Big difference. And now that's history since Miami decided to win some games

but he reminds me of the weather terrorists here in Minneapolis.
If he's wrong nothing is said (if they are wrong they dont say anything)
but if he's right we never hear the end of it (if they are right they do a frickin commercial of how they said we would get 9 inches of snow and it was measured as 8.9 so they are "accurate") :rolleyes
