and james was also a pretty good high school football player. its not common to see a player be good at two sports at the pro level. we can name a few but not many. and most of time their careers are cut short. i know salsa can name oneHmmm, I think it was Antonio Gates that was a COLLEGE basketball player and he had a pretty good career in the NFL as a TE ....

That doesn't make my statement incorrect. He played pro baseball while still playing college basketball.Actually, Ainge chose baseball over basketball when he came out of college...but he was such an anemic hitter in MLB he changed his mind and left baseball for basketball.
