Back to football, I still cannot get over the report about Brandon Lloyd being on the trading block. The guy was their leading WR last year, if I am not mistaken.

IMO, they took a huge risk in getting rid of Cutler, trading UP for Tebow, trading Marshall and now they wanna trade Lloyd?

Wow...

Don't forget trading Peyton Hillis for a 3rd string QB and a bag of beef jerky!

and james was also a pretty good high school football player. its not common to see a player be good at two sports at the pro level. we can name a few but not many. and most of time their careers are cut short. i know salsa can name one ;)

Sanders, and Jackson are probably the biggest names I can think of.

He is 30, last year of his 1.5 million contract, and he's probably gonna demand more money than the Broncos want to pay, unfortunately. We have a TON of good, young receivers(cheaper) right now. They are just trying to get something for him before he walks at the end of the year. A 2nd or 3rd, I believe.
I think we should keep him, but they didn't ask me.

Huge week for Vick, Asomugha and the rest of the dream team...and Andy Reid as well. The Eagles are in danger of accomplishing even less than the Phillies dream team did...and that's pretty bad.

The need to begin turning it around immediately against Washington this week. Eagle fans are NOT happy.

Were they ever happy??

LOL good point...let me rephrase that. They are even LESS happy than they were before! MUCH less happy!

Actually, in truth there was an awful lot of 'dream team' optimism in August...for both the Phillies and the Eagles. Talk show hosts and callers were definitely feeling smug...not so much anymore, though.

But it looks they have been doing that every year. Every time they seem to nuture talent...they trade them away. They will never create team continuity that way....

Wayne is aging and I think is in the last year of his contract along with another Colt WR or two, if they don't trade him they probably wont re-sign him and show Garcon or whomever the money.

Reggie is 32, somehow I didn't think he was that old, didn't see his contract status, yet.

Colts' trade talk was purely speculative

Please don’t panic over Colts’ trade rumors.

The segment was titled something like, “Trades That Should Be Made that Won’t Be.”

It’s very important we concentrate on that premise.

From there, ESPN’s Adam Schefter talked about two Colts in the last year of their contracts and said he could see matches with Indianapolis shipping receiver Reggie Wayne to the Bills and defensive end Robert Mathis to the Jets.

It was a speculative conversation, not a report. Schefter says he thought he made that clear, but wishes he went even further to do so based on how much volume the idea has gathered.

Of course on Twitter, it quickly became repeated as if it was a report.

Relax, Colts fans.

It didn’t originate with the Colts or the Bills or the Jets.

Yes, the Colts could wind up in position to draft Andrew Luck.

They still signed Peyton Manning to a giant contract. They still expect him to be taking the first snap of the 2013 season. They still expect to be a playoff team next year.

To be so, they are not going to jettison two of their best players. They are much more likely, in my opinion, to try to sign them to new deals after this season.

amazing that espn is actually still talking about lebron and the nfl in todays sunday countdown  so stupid!
