The Eagles may be re-thinking their huge investment in Michael Vick. Between the combination of the Eagles' offensive line and the way Vick plays, you have to always wonder how much he'll actualy be in the field.

Rey - What you do think about Jason Taylor's recent comments?

Drawn back to the Dolphins after a surprise call from coach Tony Sparano in the offseason, Taylor has been impressed with Chad Henne’s improvements.

"We need to grow and we need to continue to change, and I think Chad has grown immensely since I left here a year ago," Taylor told NBC Miami. "I saw a kid in New York, Mark Sanchez, that is young, I don't think he's as talented as Chad Henne."

Given how the Raiders draft, that's understandable.

Nice dig...LOL! You mean guys like:

McFadden, McClain, Ford, Velderheer, Wisniewski, Houston, Huff, Bush and Moore?

They addressed everything except their O-line which still has as much swish cheese type holes as last year.

In a pick'em pool at work. They make you pick 2 underdogs out of a list (which is usually hopeless). Here's this weeks list. What 2 do you think have the best chances?

Carolina over Chicago
Jacksonville over New Orleans
Seattle over Atlanta
Miami over San Diego
Denver over Green Bay
Oakland over New England
Indy over Tampa Bay

I would say Carolina and Indy, maybe Seattle.

i can tell you that so far i've had to eat my words a little bit. only a little bit because chad has made significant improvements this season. lets just say that henne hasn't been the issue this season. but i need to see him be consistent all this season. if not then he needs to go along with the coach. basically when you have an owner who we all know didn't want tony as HC and the HC who was looking to trade for another qb,you have a recipe for disaster.

Old news ... He has been gone 2 years now. The team and the fans have moved on. Last years 8-8 record and this years performance has proven that.
Last year's 8-8 record in a dismal conference. But that's okay. They've recovered from JRuss much faster than the Bolts recovered from Ryan Leaf.

Apparently you missed Young's final game?

Vick has more yards than Young with 100 fewer attempts and 6 fewer years in the game.

I was addressing Sandra's post when I stated that the Eagles addressed everything but the offensibe line issue. She stated the issue was more about Vick style of play. My statement addressed that the 49ers did not have offensive line issues when Steven Young was the QB.

Not dismal when the previous 2 seasons ended at 5-11. Regardless of the "dismal conference", that is a 3 game improvement. A 3 game improvement is great in any division.

Exactly! Regardless of the state of the offensive line, a player like Vick (or Young) will be hit A LOT.
