Ben gets hit for the same reason Vick does, their offensive lines suck, that's on the front office not the referees.

Granted the O line is NEVER a strong point for them, however, like I said, Ben extends plays longer than anyone else because he's able to shake tacklers off and get out of the pocket to make plays.

What Quarterback has had the most roughing penalty's called for them since last year?

Brady?
Brees?
Manning?
Rodgers?

Nope, Mike Vick got more flags than those 4 combined.

What a whinny douche.

Awesome stat! That's puts it to rest for me :)

The second Vick or Big Jen roll out of the pocket or cross the line of scrimmage to "extend a play", they become just like any other player and should realize that they might be pummeled. Just like if a kicker runs down the field to throw a block. Guess what kicker? You're just like everyone else now. If you don't want to be hit, stay in the pocket and throw the ball away or just sit down before getting clobbered. Otherwise, you should be treated just like everyone else.

If Vick were complaining about hits to quarterbacks in general not being called, that's fine. But he's not saying that...he's saying he doesn't get calls other quarterbacks get. That's what makes him a crybaby.

ok Sandra....LMAO! Whatever you say....as much as I like Vick...you hate him. At least I can admit that...but you win.

Romo Accuses Redskins of Cheating

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo blamed the Washington Redskins for the problems he had fielding snaps from center Phil Costa in Monday night's sloppy 18-16 Dallas victory. Costa snapped the ball a number of times before the quarterback was ready

Romo accused Redskins defenders of yelling out their own snap count, attempting to fool Costa, according to ProFootballTalk.com.

"We've got to get the snap thing worked out,"Romo told reporters after the game. "We'll get that worked out. We'll tell the league and see if that's something that can be fixed because you're not supposed to be able to do that. So we'll see. But we can't have that happen. We shouldn't have been in that situation."
NFL rules prohibit defensive players from making "disconcerting signals" by pretending to call out the quarterback’s cadence.

Look, do I like that the QBs are THIS protected...? NOPE. BUT, everybody knows and clearly sees that the good teams...ELITE teams, have a very good to great QB. And the teams that have struggled, have mediocre to crappy QBs. Hell, owners are starting to realize that even with ALL the rules to protect the QB, they need a damn good backup they are STILL getting hurt. You can best be sured that today's 3rd string QBs make as much or MORE than the elite QBs of 20 years ago.

And with ALL that money being invested in 1 position player and with the obvious trend that clearly shows that without a very good to a great QB, you will not be successful in the NFL....you guys are surprised the NFL QB is coddled? LOL! And you guys bitch when another QB complains about not getting calls?! LOL!

Owners set-up the rules...they set the standard...now we have to live with the consequences...of what comes with it...whether we like it or not.

Most reporters that report the news from a desk do the same.... LOL!

Our lead-in pre-game show reporters during the Michael Jordan days did it all the time due heat of the lights and the room.

Don't care if you like him or not. I'm saying him complaining about other quarterbacks getting calls he doesn't get makes him a crybaby.

As so many others have said, he runs the ball more, so he'll get hit more. It's pretty simple, really.

Ok Sandra.... let's move on.

Question: He's still a great coach but should we revoke Belichick's "genius" card until he puts a better defense on the field? Presently ranked 32nd in the NFL! Wow!!
