I just don't see Oakland over New England. I'm not even sure when New England lost 2 games in a row last. Tom Brady had to throw 4 picks for the Bills to win by 3 as time expired.

If it was at Gillette Stadium, I'd consider your point. It's not though. The game is on Oakland's hostile territory. The Patriots defense is the worst in the league. I just don't see how they stop Run DMC.

I just don't see Jason Campbell matching Tom Brady score for score, if it's a shootout then the Raiders lose their strength which is running the ball. Dolphins and Bills are divisional rivals that know the team better, and Fitzpatrick and Rivers are two of the better QBs in the league so far this year, leading to the 'worst defense' statistically because that's by yardage. New England's 'worst defense' is 27th in scoring... guess who's 28th... the Raiders.

But don't you use the run game as the best defense of all against Brady...by keeping him off the field? Their defense is so-so at best against the run and the only reason they do not run as much is because everyone has decided on throwing against the very worst defense against the pass in the NFL...the Pats.

IF...and this is a BIG IF...IF the Raiders have nice, long, sustained drives with the run game....they will keep Brady off the field. To me, that is MORE than half the battle right there.

Chad Henne threw for 416 yards and 2 TD's against the Pats and the 'Fins have NO rushing attack. Can't wait to see what Jason Campbell, his speedster WR's and Run DMC do against New England!

....and lost by 2 touchdowns the first week of the season when there's little/no quality film to study about a team. Also, long drives accomplish little if you don't have the lead.

And Brady threw for 517. That being said what do either have to do with the price of tea in china?

It's expected to be announced that Terrelle Pryor has lost his appeal today.

Edit: This is now official, announcement from the NFL forthcoming. Actually, he's got his own thread doesn't he.

So, his appeal got denied ?

Very prompt of the NFL Commish, they are into week 4 already....

Doesn't really matter anyways, he's not gonna play QB till everyone else gets injured.

The suspension process in the NFL is so incredibly stupid. "Fidel" Goodell hands down the suspension....the player decides to appeal, then the appeal process is lead by....yup, you got it, "Fidel" Goodell himself!

It is the collectively bargained process.

The reasoning behind the suspension doesn't seem unreasonable by any stretch, they can't have everyone in trouble manipulating draft eligibility which is what it is believed Pryor did.

So Raiders without CB Chris Johnson and starting a rookie? How's the depth behind Michael Huff who hasn't been cleared after his concussion? Ford, Shaughnessy and Reece also questionable, haven't practiced.

I have issues with appeal process.

In a week with people playing after puncturing a lung, Schefter says there are whispers in the locker room in Cleveland that Hillis sat out last week because of his contract, not just because he was sick.
