2010 NCAA Football Season

You know what? All this Terrelle bashing has me worked up to the point that I WILL give into Salsa just a tad and go out on a bit of a limb with a prediction...

Pryor will have a more successful NFL career than Jamarcus Russel. There! Mark it down.

Wow, one person says Terrelle won't even make it into the NFL as a backup, one says he'll be better than Jamarcus the Great...waistline. Bold stuff there. Time will tell! ;)

Don't get caught up in this HD, it's pointless. Nobody should have to defend a quarterback after his sophomore season. There is only one person trying to use that against Terrelle, and state that there is no way Terrelle will ever make it to the NFL...and if he wants to think that, let him. He's entitled to his opinion, and to decide he's figured out Terelle's future before his JUNIOR season if he likes, but it doesn't change anything.

The good news is we can wait until September 11 to see what happens, and also wait until Terrelle is drafted and see what happens there too. No reason to argue any of this prematurely. ;)

Sandra

Doesn't matter what happens on Sept. 11th, Terrelle could be great and play the best game of his life and win 35-0 and he would have something derogatory about him.

Whatever, it's one person's opinion...let him run with it. It's not like NFL scouts listen to him or anything. Scouts don't have agendas, they're just looking for the best players. ;)

He never will have a more successful career than JaMarcus Russell. Becaus he will never be picked #1 snd he will never get a guaranteed $31 million.;)

JaMarcus played...well...stunk up the place for 2 1/2 years....and made ALOT of money for the stink he left behind.

Interesting....

UM self reports infractions to NCAA

By Gary Ferman, CaneSport.com Publisher

Aug 6, 5:21 pm EDT

In response to a Miami Herald article stating that the University of Miami is being investigated by the NCAA for impermissible text messages to recruits sent by coaches in several sports, including football, the University of Miami released the following statement:

“The University of Miami’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics discovered possible NCAA violations involving impermissible text messages and telephone calls to prospective student-athletes. After conducting an audit, the University has self-reported its findings to the NCAA, and a joint investigation has been launched. The University will take appropriate steps to ensure full compliance with NCAA rules and regulations. As this is an on-going process, the University will have no further comment at this time.”

While several sports participating in impermissible text messaging can be considered a major NCAA violation, it is usually not punished severely. It’s possible programs could lose a scholarship or two in this situation when the process concludes, but it’s not expected to be much worse than that.

Sources told CaneSport that the texting issue is one that is likely to become widespread around the country.

Under, probably a single lose.

of course if they had SEC refs, then they'd ensure the champ is undefeated ;)

LOL - indeed!

I still think VPI is going to disappoint a bit. Guessing an opening loss to Boise St, and a meh season thereafter.

I'm guessing 3.
