If any of you are familiar with Plaxico Burress' two-game suspension and recent comments, I was wondering why he doesn't get as criticized as T.O.

Burress wasn't the greatest locker-room guy in Pittsburgh or in his first two years in Big Blue.

T.O. gets all the heat, but Plaxico should get some too. Owens isn't the only hotheaded wideout in the NFL.

I agree that Plex should get some heat, but TO seems to draw more attention through the media by some of the zany things he says to gain attention. He speaks publicly in the media more often than Plaxico.

TO gets attention for what he says.
Plaxico gets attention for missing practice.

That sounds like the score from the Etroit (Is it Ok that I use that?)/ Washington game last year. And this year Washington is good! This years rematch will be ugly also. We went 6-2 in the first 8 games last season, one of the losses was to Washington, the other, which was almost equally horrific was to Philadelphia. At least we don't have Phili again.

Paul,
Shouldn't it be " etr it " They have No D or O :D

Theyv'e scored 66 that comes to 16 points a game (more than I thought , actually) while giving up 147 / 36.

EVERY team they have played so far have scored at least 31 points.
Another interesting thing I realized, while the team has yet to get an interception - Wasn't it the Lions that totally rebuilt their secandery this past year in expectations of much better things to come ?

They are truely EMBARASSING

There are plenty of "Out there" WR's in the NFL, the more Me Me guys, the more attention they desire.
I don't think Plex is in the same catagory as T.O. and Randy Moss and Chad 85 when it comes to needing the attention, Plex doesn't normally go looking for attention, they others mentioned DO.

It's nice to see some variety in the NFL, with surprising teams and players.

Last year, it was a little annoying for me personally to hear everyone talk about how Brady and Manning were so good to the point where it was almost as if they were the only two teams in the league.

To me, it was almost like the NFL was the Colts-Patriots league and the others were somewhat ignored.

This year, variety. Delhomme, Cutler, Manning, Collins. I was getting a little tired of the same-old, same-old.

Look...the ONLY mistake in MY eyes that he made was not calling his employer. YES, he screwed up there....but for the media to try to hang him by his sack for wanting to be at his child's 1st day of school is extremely low blow in my opinion.
There are tons of men that don't take responsibility or active part in their children's lives and here is a guy WHO DOES...and now people wanna put him in the same ME ME thinking of T.O. ??!!! You guys aren't serious are you? And considering how much a beating the black man takes in the media and society for NOT being active in their kids lives and beating him up in the media FOR the things they WANT black men to be responsible for is utter low class BS in my opinion.:no:no:no:mad:

Yeah are version of the Tampa Two defense. But since it's comprised of Tampa Bay castoffs, we call it the Tampa Too defense. Marinelli was a defensive specialist, DL coach to be exact. He's really made his mark on our defense.

What is it about WR's? These guys are biggest Prima Donas in sports. The better they are, the flakier they are.

they get worse every year. i don't understand! Lose the attitudes. you ain't better than the teams you play for. get over yourselves.

My son. He was 2 1/2 then, 3 1/2 now. My daughter has her first birthday in 4 days. I'll probably change the pic around then. She's a little cutie too. They're keeping this 50 yr. old fart young.

They'll do that! Enjoy it while it lasts. My two are 16 and 17, and they're making this 50 year old fart feel even older.

I will leave Moss out of this because he has been a good teammate and citizen since he has come to New England. Maybe he has turned the corner, I'll wait and see on him.

Burress, Owens and Johnson have something in common that is very interesting, that douche bag Rosenhaus in their agent, hmmm:eureka

Keep an eye on Moss, if the Pat's start losing because of QB play, you may finally see the real Randy.
He's been a model citizen while in NE. What was his excuse the first 10 years ?

Thats said, Corey Dillon was a malcontent till be got to NE too.

Pacman Jones is in trouble again. Didn't see that one coming.

I saw that. According to Dallas police, Pacman got in a fight with one of the four bodyguards Cowboys owner Jerry Jones hired to stop TuPacman from getting in trouble. Personally, I find it amusing that this guy needs 4 escorts constantly around watching his every move. Is this guy that out of control that he needs to have a constant eye on?! What a nutcase.
