NCAA Football 2011-2012

Ok guys, all you that thought Georgia's uni's the other day were bad, they were NOTHING, take a look at the Maryland uni's tonight.
I think they forgot what their school colors were.

It's like you're reading my mind. I was going to post that I wondered who dressed the Georgia Bulldogs this season, but I see that it was the same knuckleheads who dressed the Maryland Terps...who are dressing like the Twerps. Ugh!

The Dawg's were pretty bad, even the Atlanta media was calling them the power rangers uniforms :p

Maryland's colors are red, so the color is sorta correct (at least in one half). But gawd those helmets are awful. They pretty much draped the Maryland flag over the helmet and shoulder pads. Which sucks, because the Terps actually had nice uniforms & jerseys before. Luckily for teh bulldog nation, the power rangers uniforms were for 1 game only, but the maryland flag uniforms are here to stay.

Knowing 5 starters are out, they are going into a no-huddle spread....so far the entire game. I hate it, but a smart move by the Terps coaching staff.

Not that smart. Their quarterback decided to throw an interception into the back of the endzone when he was running with the ball on the 5 yard line with nobody within 10-yards in either direction. Jimbo's grandmother could have run that one in for six points. If I were the coach I would have beat the quarterback (smartly mind you) with the ugly stick the AD used to beat their uniforms with.

Riff...that was one play...they have played it the entire game and they have almost 300 yards. Also, almost the entire defense for the U are a bunch of frosh, sophs and 1 senior....so you go after the other teams conditioning.

Ok, the Terps are Red and White, and normally decent unis, where does the Blue and Yellow come from ?

The Maryland state flag, as I showed in an attachment. That's why I said one half, the half that is red & white.

Living right by the Maryland State line, I recognized it immediately.

I wouldn't have a problem with the uniforms AT ALL, without the 50/50 split. Keep it all as per one side of the uni/helmet, and it's a nice uni. The split is what makes it just hideous.

Miami beat themselves tonight. Those 3 turnovers leading to 16 points. :-(

yeah they did! I was pulling for Miami hard while wearing my "Sucks to be U" T-shirt :D

but no really.. I wanted Miami to win and have a nice push going into this weekends game against Ohio State and win that game.

Now I await the #2 week polls... I'm thinking Oklahoma, Alabama, LSU, Oregon, FSU, Stanford, BoiseSt, TexasAM, Okl St, and Nebraska should be how the top #10 should read.

Why do you think Oregon should be number 4 when they lost their first game?

I agree, they'll drop further than that. Problem for Oregon, is there are several undefeated teams in the top 10 who are supposed to be really good this year.

What will be interesting is how many #1 votes LSU will pick up (based on knocking off Oregon who had some #1 votes). Oklahoma & Alabama might lose some votes to LSU.

They lost it to LSU whom was #4 with Oregon #3 and I saw more talent on them than the rest of those higher up. Keep in mind many 1 loss teams have gone to the NC ahead of undefeated teams for this very reason.

I can see a top ten ranking, maybe, but a one spot drop with a loss? Not to mention it is at the beginning of the season when we really know nothing about the teams.
To me, they did not look worthy of the number 3 or 4 ranking.
