NCAA Football 2009-10 Season

Also, while Tebow played a role in 2006, that was Chris Leak's team. Just saying, it wasn't all Tebow.

2006 Was Leak's team. Take nothing away from him he was a good QB.. However without Teabow, they would not of won as many games. I mean afterall Teabow scored ALL of the Gators TD's against LSU that year.

I think the combonation of the 2 is what made that 2006 team as good as they were. I mean just look at 2007. Teabow by himself for the first time, disapointed. (Although losing 2 games in a season in most every other school would be considered a great victory.)

Look at 2005, 9 and 3. Without teabow. Leak had a great season though.

Don't forget that Leak was the QB of the only team to beat LSU during the Tiger's 2003 championship season, and in Tiger stadium to boot. :) Also, in 2006 LSU had Jadumbass Russell at QB. As I remember he turned the ball over twice in the redzone trying to do something he couldn't.

....... a suckass! ;) :D
Nastily said HD.

Isn't that the exact same record (well, 9 and 4 with the bowl loss) that Florida had in 2007 (without Leak)?

Your right I forgot about the loss to Auburn. I thought they only had 3 losses in the season (not counting the bowls)

In fact in 2005 Leaks Gators, went 9-3 with there bowl win.. Of course Leak was a Junior and a tested QB. In 2007 it was teams first go at running the team. In Tims next year he won the national title. It took leak till his Senior year with Teabow behind him to win the title.

But please lets not think I am bashing leak. he was a great asset to FLA program and a great QB. We would not of won the title in 2006 without him.

Since there are no matchups of highly-ranked teams going head-to-head, what ganes do you consider to me watchable this weekend?

The best match-up this weekend is Georgia Tech playing The U in Miami....on Thursday! I will be there!! Then I think everyone is gonna watch Florida and Tennessee and see how much Urban Myer will run up the score.

And I will be up late watching, Go Jackets!!!!!

Wish I could hit more games, too bad they put Maryland & Ma Tech into separate divisions, now I can only go to a game every 5 or so years instead of every other.

Other than Tech/Miami, the Tennessee/Florida game will be good. It will show how Florida plays against real competition (ok, almost real) other than the warmups they've had the past 2 weeks.

Also the Georgia/Arkansas game will show just how bad the Dawgs will be this year. Same with Ohio St/Toledo in repect to the Buckeyes.

Due to last years game, the Texas/Texas Tech should be good, but I see a let down by the Red Raiders and them being crushed by the Longhorns.

What do you mean late, it's a 7:30pm game? Where do you live Derwin?

EDIT: I just saw that you live in PA. It's a nice drive down I-95 this time of year.....:)
