NCAA Football 2009-10 Season

What do you mean late, it's a 7:30pm game? Where do you live Derwin?
I get up before 5:30am to go to work. Staying up to 11pm makes the next morning suck
EDIT: I just saw that you live in PA. It's a nice drive down I-95 this time of year.....:)
I prefer taking I-81, the stretch between Washington & Richmond sucks.
But only so much vacation to use. And when I drive down for a game, it's usually the Tech/Georgia game, since that always falls on Turkey Weekend, and I'm usually down visiting my family for that long weekend.

I think Pitt-Navy might be interesting and a lot of "Charlie Haters" will be watching the Notre Dame- Michigan State game too see if it is too early or not to order the one way bus ticket out of South Bend.

Try Taking Rt. 15 from Frederick MD south to Rt.17 in Virginia. Nice drive and bypasses all the traffic in NVA.

I usually catch 15 near Gettysburg, take it past Fredrick, and then follow 340 towards Winchester to catch I-81 (83 was a typo). The area around Harper's Ferry is beautiful to go through.

Gettysburg is gorgeous too. I envy you living so close. I was just there for the second time this year, and during the time of year the battle took place. As a lover of history (in particular CW history) I had a blast. Plan to go back in four years for the 150th aniversary.

wow I hope Miami gets a big bump in the rankings.

If they go through VT next week, and Ok the following (which is even more likely without bradley) I can not see why the U would not be in the top 5. I mean they have certainly played 4 of the toughest games so far this year.

I admit I totallly underestimated Miami this year. They look good, and this opening schedule doesn't look so tough now.

OTOH add GT to the overrated list. Lots of people were picking them to win the Coastal division this year. Not so fast. Their option attack is going down to the same thing that has ruined the option for years, speed. If you're fast and stay disciplined the option won't work at all.

IF Miami runs the table the 1st 4 games, they should be top 3.....easily! NOBODY has played a tougher schedule....EVEN if the teams end up being so-so. There are NO cream puffs in that starting 4 games. NO ONE in the country can complain about THAT schedule. BUT, you gotta still throw caution to the wind...it IS STILL only 2 games.

I don't think they are overrated....they killed a team last year that was about 75% freshman. Last year's upper classmen were the last of the dreadful recruiting class of Larry Coker. You see what just ONE YEAR of experience can do AND a legit offensive and defensive coordinators. And this team is STILL one year away!

...The U is ALMOST back....ALMOST....;)

Miami's QB was 20-25, 270 yards, 3 touchdowns.

I know it's early, but numbers and play like that remind me of this guy:

Honestly, it is STILL a young season....but has any other QB played better against as tough a schedule. When then kids came out of high school....it was ALL about Prior. WHO has matured into a legit QB faster...? This kid really ONLY has 6 starts as a QB, if I am not mistaken...

gotta crash...LAST day at my former company....start a new gig monday....:up

Your expecting to go from outside the top 20 (25) to start the season to Top 3 in 4 weeks ?
Only the Golden Domers could do that.

Only difference is, the kid from Miami has NO PRESSURE on him while Pryor has a TON of pressure on him.

They have made him out to be the next great thing and I don't see it, at least yet.

Then again, others that have been reveered were not all that great at the start.
V Young was NOTHING till his late in his Jr year and into his Sr year.

It also took Troy Smith a few years to get going at OSU and then he was very good.

Am I disappointed with Pryor, I was expecting him to do better yes, but I'm not throwing him out the door

i'm not going to get too excited here yet but so far so good. i won't go as far to think they might be in the top 5 anytime soon. where do guys think they might rank after last night's win?
