NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

Game over, 31-13? :(

Told you this game was over ....
Every time Illinois scores, Missouri turns around and scores again, at least it's a good win for a guy I have rooted for, Gary Pinkel came to Toledo for a few years after he left Washington, he's a really good guy, from what I can tell.
Turned the team around in very little time ...

Anders,

your Tar Heels looked a bit shaky.

You struggled against McNEESE STATE?!

Wow, I can only imagine how embarassing that could have been!

It was worrisome, but at least they won. My expectations in football are not too high, and I've seen Carolina lose to teams worse than McNeese St in the past. You lose a game like that and your season is over. Nobody remembers margin of victory down the road just whether you win or lose. Given the state of the ACC right now I will be disappointed if Carolina doesn't post a winning record in conference this year.

Another thing:

I am stil not convined that USC is as great as everyone claims.

EVERYBODY in the media fawns over the Trojans like they are God's gift to the college game.

Personally, I view them as a machine, but machines don't have heart.

USC, IMO, is a cold-blooded team without a heart, and you gotta have heart to win it all.

Oh, and I don't trust their recieving corps.

Thoughts on the Late Saturday Games.

1. Good on you Minnesota for going for it on 4th and goal and not settling for the FG. Now that's how you play football!

2. Not a good day for the ACC, not at all.

3. La. Tech way to represent the WAC.

4. Oklahoma how could you allow Chattanooga to score a safety on you. :D

5. ESPN lose that f***ing Red Line across the screen.

I could have told you that Clemson was overrated. I have no defense of the ACC after days like today. I just don't like people making a big deal out of bowl games that don't mean anything. Those games don't count. These do.

1) UNC is actually my darkhorse for the ACCCG. After Frenchinia Tech #$%#@% the bed yesterday, it's looking solid.

2) Wow, guess that preseason hype for Pitt was misplaced! :) (curse of the stache strikes again!)

3) I missed the UConn opener due to the birth of my 3rd child... :D

4) Looking forward to Ville-KY today, Fresno-Rutgers tomorrow
