NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

I still do not trust USC's recieving corps. They can't win a title on running or defense alone. This isn't Nebraska or Oklahoma.

Anders, isn't the Tar Heel game delayed? Last I check, that's what I saw on the ticker.

Yes Carolina is in a rain delay. Arghhh! They better finish this game because one of our guys has 230 yards and they've only played 20 minutes.

My thoughts.

2. USC is good. Very good. With Beanie Wells getting banged up today for OSU, USC is looking like a strong favorite in that game.

Beanie will be fine for the USC game, X Rays were negative and it is being reported that it is a toe injury, not the Ankle like us Buckeye fans feared.... thats what has bothered him in the past.
The Bucks still have plenty of capable backs to step in, some your freshman that want an oppertunity to make a good impression as well.
Running back is a position both OSU and USC have a pretty good stable of.
That said, we would like to have Beanie healthy this year .

I would not consider USC to be a STRONG favorite.

I see California is taking lessons from Oregon about having the worst uni's in the country. They are beating Michigan State so far 10-7 in the 2nd.

They look better from the field, but up close they are aweful.

You Do ???
You use to be a M fan ?

I have never seen them black out the main channel before either ....
I noticed earlier that they had some other garbage on the main channels, could not figure that out either with Football starting today and now they have the highly touted Delaware vs Maryland game on ...... Sorry Terp fans, but, this belongs on the Big Whatever conference Network...

Utah hasn't played LSU at all to my knowledge.

Don't take things so literate you two. What I meant was I know what it feels like to have a team you really pull for start declining, swap coaches, then get beat by a team you think they should beat. Even Saban lost to teams like UAB his first couple of seasons. It's depressing at times.

On a different note, you who say the ACC is crap are right. I'm watching a supposedly middle of the pack SEC team with 10 freshman starting having their way with what was predicted to be the best of the ACC - Alabama 20, Clemson 3 in the first half.

I'm tossing between the Illini and Missou game and the Mighigan State and Cal. games.

Illinois just went ahead when a DL intercepted a pass and chugged into the endzone !
I think it's 13-10 now.

edit: Then Macklin returned the K.O. 99 yards for a TD.

I'm jumping form that one and the Bama/Clemson game. Illinois is staying close against one of the Big 12's supposedly best teams - smell an upset?

Potential upset in the making.

Arkansas State is leading Texas A&M 18-14 with just over a minute left in the fourth quarter IN COLLEGE STATION!!

Granted, the Aggies aren't ranked or expected to be great, but given how big a name A&M is against a small school... this would be a real surprise.

Next 5 minutes may be crucial in this game, Missou is starting to pull away, if Illinois come right back and scores before the half, they will be OK, but if Missouri scores next, it's all over.

Ouch! That won't sit well with Aggie fans.

Looks like Illinois is getting a little tired on defense. Starting to miss tackles.

Where is the Alabama game being shown, wondering if I can get it or not ?

Louisiana Tech just beat Mississippi State 22-14 for their first ever win against a BCS conference team. I knew Croom didn't have anything going on in Starksville.

Aggies lose to Arkansas State too. Sad times in College Station.
