Pitt sucks. Not only did they lose to Bowling Green, but they couldn't have had more than 10,000 people at the game. When people talk about why BE football is bushleague this is why.

Truth be told Bowling Green probably has more talent than Pitt or most other Big least teams for that matter.

ESPN has ALWAYS had the 2 Alt channels in the system, but rarely uses them.

I noticed earlier that they had some other garbage on the main channels, could not figure that out either with Football starting today and now they have the highly touted Delaware vs Maryland game on ...... Sorry Terp fans, but, this belongs on the Big Whatever conference Network...

Michigan just recovered a fumble.
Michigan scored to trail by 2, 25-23, then missed a 2 point conversion, still plenty of time left, could be a real interesting finish.

RB and Heisman candidate Chris Wells went down with an apperant foot/ankle injury today.
Xrays were negative.
ESPN - Ohio State RB Wells leaves with foot injury; X-rays negative - College Football
Wells has had ongoing ankle problems going back to his freshman year, felt he was in great shape and the ankle issues were behind him, now this ...
From what Tressel said, he didn't think it was the ankle .... thats a good sign.

They will be fine in a year or two when he gets the QB in there that he wants, remember, he didn't recruit these guys (qb's) I don't think anyways, if he did he was unable to find any other spread QB's when recruiting, unfortunatly for him Terrelle Pryor went to the School south of there
....Pryor looked pretty good after the first series.
I certianly hope Tressel decides to have Pryor throw the ball down field some, seeing we all know he's gonna run with it if he doesn't see anyone open.

Thoughts on the early games.
1. Congrats to the Utes. But they should have been up by 25 points by half and WTF were you doing in the 4th Qtr, stupid play calls and execution almost gave away a game that Michigan had no business being close to win.
2. USC might be better than I think, and that may be scary.
3. The Big East and ACC off performances so far may be over-rated.
4. C-USA may be under-rated.
4. Hawaii better decide who it's QB is or it's going to be a long, long year.

My thoughts.
1. Michigan is in for a loooong year.
2. USC is good. Very good. With Beanie Wells getting banged up today for OSU, USC is looking like a strong favorite in that game.
3. ACC. What can I say? Although I have no pity for VT. Their loss is Carolina's gain.
4. C-USA underrated? More like East Carolina underrated. The rest of that league still sucks pretty bad.
4. I hear the weather is lovely in Hawaii.
