BTW, you think ESPN's kicking themselves in the head for letting that one get away?

Keep in mind, LSU's last two home losses (last year to Arkansas, this year to Georgia) were day games.

LSU is better at night-time home games.

WOW, Ball State and Miami are on espn2 Saturday night (7pm) instead ...

I was looking forward to that game... I hope it's on somewhere nationally.

Looks like USC and Cal. are on ABC at 8, at least in the Detroit market, I'm close but the local CBS here still has just the generic College Football listed. Maybe there's hope, but I doubt it.

Night games in Death Valley are more fun. I remember one year Auburn went into Death Valley, and had the ball inside their own 5 yard line. Someone in the crowd blew a whistle, the Auburn players quit playing, and LSU sacked 'em for a safety. It was hilarious...not to the Auburn fans, of course..

Ohio State is playing Northwestern at 12:00pm ET on ESPN2 this weekend, while the Bama-LSU game is on at 3:30pm ET on CBS. Presumably, ESPN never had a shot at the Bama-LSU game since CBS would have gotten first dibs.

Couple of other random clarifications of stuff recently in this thread....

Ball St-Miami(OH) is on ESPN2 at 7pm ET... on Tuesday. That is not a Saturday night game.

ABC at 8pm ET has two games on a split national broadcast: Cal-USC and Oklahoma St-Texas Tech.

Disney is carrying a night SEC game: Florida-Vandy at 8pm ET on ESPN2. Oddly, they decided to put Notre Dame-Boston College on ESPN in the same slot (instead of putting the better game on ESPN and the sucky game featuring the Irish on ESPN2).

No. Ok St-TT is on ABC and ND-BC is on ESPN. You could get stuck with Cal-USC instead of the TT game, but probably only if you live on the west coast.

If thats so, then the listing at hdsportsguide is incorrect.
After looking at the Ball State schedule the game is actually on WED. night
