NCAA Football 2007-08

Who kicked whos butt last year in the national title? :)

Man GA played an awesome game big props to them, They took away any hope UF had of going to the big game, and unless some more teams start losing completely destroyed their hopes of a SEC title...

Oh,
I see, they get to take a week off before they play tough games !!!!!

Such a tough SEC, they are so tough that they cannot play every week of the season.

Lets play 12 straight weeks and see how tough the Big bad SEC is, and also lets play a road game where you have to deal with weather some time.

Come on up to the Big Ten where you have to pay in the SNOW and Rain, thats where REAL football is played.

Not in the prefect weather of the south and west, 80's oh my, there's a balmy wind, are we going to be ok to play a game today ???

To bad they don't play bowl games in the North, all the northern teams have to go down and play in your perfect weather.

Come up north lets play games in Lambeau, Soldier staduim ect.

Now THAT was an impressive win by Ohio State!

Hmmm...you live in Ohio, but don't appear to be a Buckeye fan. Is that even possible?

GO BLUE!!!!!

I'm a transfer from Louisiana. I love Ohio and the people here in the midwest - it's just tough to shrug off old allegiances, know what I mean? A little jealousy is there also I guess.

That said, I still don't thing the Buckeyes are battle tested yet. I see Meeechigan moved up in the polls.

Geaux Tigers! :)

I knew it would take about 5 minutes for someone to say, "You haven't played anyone".

Last week you all said the same thing and said that Penn State was going to win and that we could not handle them.....
Now PSU was nothing, not a worthy team.

Please make up your mind ....

So what happens when we play michigan and beat them ????

Have we still not played anyone ?
I guess we will not have played anyone until we play YOUR team and WIN.

Before the beat PSU AT PSU....really were NOT battle and you know that...they had played NOBODY. A win against a GOOD Pen State was impressive. Also, does a team need to be in the top 25# to be considered good?

This year about NOBODY is in the Top 25.
Has there been anybody in the top 10 all year ?

Jimbo

On the contrary....LSU has played more teams in the Top 25 than any team in the Top 10.....6 in total...and they are 5-1 against them....nobody can claim a tougher schedule.

So LSU is the only team that started in the top 10 that has been there all year ?
Anyone else ?

I know OSU started 11th won and dropped to 12 and then have been in the top 10 the rest of the year.

Of course it depends on which poll you go by.

btw, I Agree that NO polls should be release until after week 4-5.

As much as it pains me to say it, I think that OSU and the winner of Oregon/ASU will wind up in the MNC when all is said and done. The chances of LSU and BC losing again are pretty good since they have to play conference championships as well as finish against pretty decent competition. OSU might get wacked by Meechigan, but I think they and the Oregon/ASU winner will have the easiest road ahead.

Actually, I think the easiest road could be Boston Colleges'...their toughest game is @Clemson. They play Miami and Florida State, but those programs are in rebuilding years. Now the game @Maryland COULD be dangerous....

Oregon, LSU and West Virginia concern me most ...
They have more speed than OSU does.
Of course , they have to get there first

OSU has Defensive speed, but not nearly enough offensive speed.

Here is a question....Let's say, OSU, Boston College and LSU wins out. HOW in the world do you leave LSU out of the championship game when they will have played a tougher schedule against better teams....??!! DOES being undefeated AUTOMATICALLY give you the right to play for the national championship...EVEN if you might have played a weaker schedule or a played in a "weaker" conference?

HMMMMmmmmmmm....this should REALY get the debate going....:D

It sure didn't over the past years back undefeated teams like, Boise State, Utah, and Marshall.

This is why they suck

Joe Gibbs retires again
