NCAA Football 2007-08

Heh - want to see a collective head explosion? Try this...

If the BCS were computed today, UConn would be #22.

I think I heard salsadancer's brain hit the monitor from here... :D

Nahhh......I don't have delusions of granduer. The Hurricanes are not that good, I know that. Your Huskies are not that good either....but you THINK they are....;)I support my team and I also realize when they are not that good. WHAT does a #22 in the BCS mean? Anything? Everyone knows that if you are NOT in the top 10 in the BCS, it means nothing. In actuality, your #22 ranking is worth as much as our non-ranking....

*Sigh*

I don't think my Huskies belong in the top-top echelon of I-A yet, but we're getting closer by the week.

I'm just enjoying the ride, although you seem intent on poo-pooing everything I'm saying.

A #22 ranking in the BCS might not seem like much to a school with multiple national championships, but to a new I-A school who went 4-8 last year, this is heaven.

Look, your little game of wanting my head to explode backfired....
AND NOW you wanna blame ME for reality??!!! LMAO!!:haha:haha:haha
I TRY VERY HARD to base how they will do on REALITY. I may not succeed all the time(case in point, the Miami Heat....:p), but the truth makes you a man and face reality when it comes to sports and who you root for....and not Dorothy, clicking your heels and wishing "there is no place like home" 10 times.....

Making your way to the mountain top is MUCH easier than getting there and maintaining your place on the mountain top...just ask your UCONN basketball team....;)

The REAL test will be next year....when they more than likely play a tougher season schedule and teams will know that you guys are better than that 4-8 team.

The offspring I meant was Brian Robiskie. I believe that's Terry's son, right?

And you're right - Terry was canned by the Browns last year and is a wide receiver's coach for Miami.

You are right,
Brian Robiske is the current Buckeye WR
I for some reason thought you said someone else, but when I went back to look , I realized that you did not mention a first name.
Yes, Brian is Terry's son !

Ok Paul,
It seems we are moving on up the rankings each week, but, if EVERYONE continues to lose, why is it our fault we are moving up,
Someone has to be up there ....

You've got BC and South Florida in the top ten for gosh sakes !

Oh it's nobodies fault the Buckeyes are that high. The pollsters have been getting it wrong all season, starting with Michigan's #5 ranking at the beginning. Your Buckeye's have limited offensive power, but the defensive numbers look great. But then, they looked great last year, (like Michigans) right up to the last two games. I just feel there are better teams out there than the undefeated Buckeyes. I'm hoping they're still undefeated when we play in November.

GO BLUE!!!

Your right, Our Offense is limited, but improving each week.
Defense is in the Top 5 in the nation, maybe better.

Desmond Howard kinda dissed us this week (the D mind you) said that LSU's D was MUCH better, but what do you expect from a M player, I would have said Grad, but I don't know if he did or not.

I don't think our D is better than a few years back with Hawk and Carpenter and company, but coming close...

Only given up 43 points thru 6 games, thats pretty good, isn't it ????

I wonder how many they have scored and what the + - ratio is ?

:up:up:up Didn't the Uconn BB team get their a**es handed to them last year? I know Pitt beat them.:D

Just got back from Lexington and gotta admit I'm a little down. Wildcats played like champs tonight. Oh well, maybe my Tigers can regroup and get a crack at them in Atlanta later this year.:(
