We looked gayer than male figure skaters in those things.

Kansas and Kentucky go down.

If Syracuse wins, they'll be the #1 team in the country.

If they lose- god knows who'll get that top-ranking.
Big day for upsets. Kansas and Kentucky lose, Notre Dame beats Georgetown and you know who shocked Wake Forest. :D

Looking forward to Villanova-Syracuse tonight, and the UConn-Louisville game tomorrow should punch a ticket into the big dance for the winner.

IF the 'Cuse wins...they will deserve to be #1. IF they lose, there will be a lot of split votes and whomever lost to the higher ranked team should be #1.
Atleast that is my take.

If you've seen how bad Carolina has been playing you'd be shocked.

Any person on this board can shoot free throws better than North Carolina did. That guy that went 4 for 12 made Greg Kite look like a sharpshooter.

I did like the way North Carolina defended, and I liked the fundamentally sound way their players hauled in and protected rebounds, but during the last ten minutes, they made embarassingly poor layup attempts that weren't even close. With even average coordination, they could have won that game by 20.

In the Big East, Louisville, Marquette, Connecticutt and supposedly Cincinnatti and Notre Dame are said to be "on the bubble". Unfortunately for the Big East, they now all play each other, so there cannot be nine teams from this conference making it based on their regular season performances, as each game that has a winner also has a loser.

Marquette has only one quality win, and while Cincinnatti has a few, it is likely to get wiped out by the ranked teams it has left to play. I'd say there will be maybe seven or eight Big East teams in if Marquette and Notre Dame either finish the regular season respectably or, if they do not, they'd have to win two games in the Big East tourney. Cincy might have to win three games in the Big East tourney to get invited to the NCAAs. It could happen, I suppose.

That would be Larry Drew who went 4-12. At least he hit the rim with all his attempts, which is more than I can say for others on the team this year. Our FT shooting has been awful. Fortunately today Wake was just as bad. Missed layups have become common too. I kept thinking we would were going to blow it because a better team would have destroyed Wake. I'm just glad that Carolina played hard today. I'm so sick of watching games where they quit, and they've done that a lot. If you don't compete you've got no shot.

Kentucky lost to a ranked team. One that beat Kansas earlier.
