While tonight is all about Browns/Eagles, we have our first meaningful buzzer-beater of the year.
Cleveland State stuns No. 11 Syracuse 72-69 - College Basketball - Rivals.com
I used to be a student at Kent State. The year after I left, the Golden Flashes went to the elite 8. I transferred to Cleveland State, finished undergrad there and completed Grad school there last May......now the Vikings have a legit chance to win the Horizon and go to the big dance. Maybe I should move out of Cleveland and the Browns will have a turnaround next year.
Skyhi, I went to KSU too. I was a Sophomore during their Elite 8 run. The campus was electric that year!
I'm sure it was. I went to Ray's to watch the game against Indiana in the Elite 8...It was crazy. Before I arrived that day, Drew Carey was there pregaming and buying rounds for the entire bar.
In the Tourney that team beat Oklahoma St, Alabama and Pitt before losing to Indiana in that epic Elite 8 game.
I got freaking screwed by Kent State in my bracket tournament- I finished second by ONE GAME.
I had picked Pittsburgh to win the whole thing, and those Golden Flashes robbed me of a title!
I think the lesson should be don't bet on Pitt. They haven't advanced beyond the Sweet 16 since 1974.Hope you learned your lesson Sabres. Don't mess with the Flashes!

To be fair, I have picked Antonio Gates a couple of years on my fantasy team.
Yep that was a big event. The Carolina scoring record stood for 30 years and by the time Hansbrough is done I doubt I'll live long enough to see anyone break it. Next up is the ACC scoring record.I can't believe Anders or anyone else didn't bring up Hansboro breaking UNC's all-time scoring record.
Congrats to Ol' Crazy Eyes
2,769 is the magic number (which broke a 51 year record) set by good ol' J.J., and I seriously doubt "Crazy Eyes" will reach it. Anything's possible, I guess. Congrats to him, though. That's one hell of an accomplishment!Yep that was a big event. The Carolina scoring record stood for 30 years and by the time Hansbrough is done I doubt I'll live long enough to see anyone break it. Hansbrough will shatter Redick's mark. He's at 2302 points now and there's at least 25-30 games left in the season. At 20 PPG Hansbrough should finish well above 2800.2,769 is the magic number (which broke a 51 year record) set by good ol' J.J., and I seriously doubt "Crazy Eyes" will reach it.
