Before you make ANY knee jerk comments.....let's get some facts thrown in there.
YES....he is a little thug-wanna-be....but I am quite sure there has NEVER been any of those at UNC right?:rolleyes: Also, here some interesting facts for you:

Devendorf's lawyer wasted little time in appealing the decision and had some rather interesting things to say in this statement to WTVH Sports Director Kevin Maher including this:

"He (Devendorf's lawyer) said the board ignored the fact that Kim Smith, the 20-year old student who says Devendorf punched her in the face, was drinking at a frat party. Sullivan also said Smith broke a New York State law by driving after consuming alcohol. He added that according to the Syracuse city police report Smith did not appear to have any signs of a fight on her body. He also said that Smith did not have a single witness who could verify her story. He was also very disappointed that the school overlooked the fact that Smith used racially insensitive language during the argument, language that Sullivan said goes against the University's message of tolerance."

That's beside the point. The FACT is he got kicked out of school. Besides I already thought Devendorf was a little bitch, now I have proof.

LMAO!! Facts are "beside the point"??!! What "proof" do you have that the DISTRICT ATTORNEY could not dig up?? All you have, and the University has, was a female student SAYING she was hit in the face. I guess if a woman at UNC came up to the board and said the Tyler Hansbrough raped her, then he is AUTOMATICALLY a rapist because "she said it". :rolleyes:

Regardless of the fact that you dislike the guy, you are not rationally thinking...which seams to be rampant here for athletes that are disliked.
 
Don't blame me. The University heard Devendorf's side of things and didn't buy it, and they would have an interest in protecting an athlete. Kids can get thrown out of school for all sorts of things that a DA would have no interest in, like cheating on an exam.

YES, the school has all kinds of reasons for throwing out any student....but you just assume he his guilty of something just by her words....and your own words("now I have proof")...Rumor has it he was on some secret probabtion, IF that were the case, then THAT is why they might have suspended him....

....but IF you are gonna accuse someone of assulting another...sorry, but have some witness AND/OR proof.

Do you mean like a double secret probation? :D Look I really don't care about the details. If you asked me what I thought about Devendorf before all this, I'd have said he's a thug. I stand by that. As a basketball player I'd also say that he's a turnover machine.
