I think the right choice was made but I wouldn't have bitched (much) had ok state got in over us. I think we had the best argument but theirs wasn't terrible.

An overrated 3 loss lsu. It is still a biased popularity poll and you cant get that thru your thick head. You have your opinion and I have mine, its not gonna change. So good day

Over rated or not LSU Still only lost 3 times.. 1 of those was to Alabama.. LSU Beat overranked TCU..... ;)

LSU is a 3 loss team, W Virginia is a 4 WIN team.... Has nothing to do with a thick head.

You said yourself the teams OKs and Alabama beat are basically the same right? I dont agree but you say it is so ok we will say Alabama and Oks each beat the same level teams.. So what is the next thing we look at? The loss... OkS lost by 2 scores to a bottom feeder. A team that is not even going bowling. Alabama lost by 1 score on a last min fluke play, (all credit to auburn mind you for winning) but they lost to an Auburn team who is now playing in the SEC title game.

So losing to a team who will not even go bowling vs losing to a team who will play in its conference title game..... hmm thick head has nothing to do with it. The facts are staring right in front of you. I went to bat for OkS the year bama rematched with LSU but this year I just cant. It makes 0 sense to put them ahead of Alabama.

I dunno I could see them staying at 6 or 7. Easy. Even though a loss to Michigan would be bad (as Mich sucks this year) They still get some credit because of it being a rivalry game and we all know how that adds a lil extra to the mix.

Just like Clemson, Ohio St would have dropped at least 6 spots or more, not 2 or 3 if they had lost yesterday. Using the coaches poll since bsc hasn't come out yet

That may very well be, but now it's going past the teams loss to the teams that beat them loss. Which factors in I guess, but not favorably the further you go for ok state in that regard. ;)

Clemson dropped much more but there were undefeated teams ahead of them. It made sense then.

They worked their way back up with a chance to stay in it as the season progressed, until this weekend.

Well Clemson didn't just lose.. They had the floor wiped with them at home. 51 to 14 with 7 of those points coming in junk time, and FSU taking its foot off the gas in the 4th qtr. had OhioST lost like that to Mich then I could see them dropping 6 or so spots maybe even more since Mich was not even ranked. Clemson only dropped 6 after being completely destroyed because FSU was so highly ranked. If OhioSt would have lost yesterday in a close one, I think theyd still be 6 or 7. If they got blown away like Clemson did then maybe drop 6 spots or more.

You may be right, but it's hard to say, seeing the entire media is typically against Ohio State. Voters wise ... Hell, Mark May (don't think he has a vote) would probably drop them out of the top 25 if he had his way.

I think Bama may have stayed as high as they did/will (4) partly because it was a rivalry game.

Buckeye players, particularly the D said after the game that they were too amped up because it was the rivalry game.
Thats more than likely why the "brawl" started.

Mind your own business. You have bigger issues to worry about. ;) :D

Yea so our OL and OC were fired today.. It is odd that we have had 3 OC in 4 years... Im starting to think the OC is not the problem... This crappy BIg12 coach needs to take his ass back home. We need a new HC.

And there is also that.

Absolutely you have to give some credit to the fact these rivalry games mean a little more to players/teams/fans etc and they are usually a lot more amped up. That was the ONLY hope I gave FLA this year vs FSU was soley because it was a rivalry. I still said wed lose but I had a tiny tiny tiny glimmer of hope just because it was a rivalry.

Well we knew pease was out and the OL coach, and possible the strength coach. Its been the rumor for some time. Once Foley said Muschamp is his guy and he is staying next year, someone had to be fired.

There is 8 million reasons why Muschamp will be back next year... But I think in the long run another season like this and that 8 million would have been moeny well spent.

It had to do with it being a rivalry game for sure.

It also had to do with Auburn being ranked in the top five.
That means something.

Well, if things don't turn around drastically next year, the HC needs to go. Although, the rest of us would prefer he'd stay. ;)
