Ill also say, if one of you other conference teams want to break the streak, this is the year. A one loss SEC champ wont have as big of a claim on it this season, if that happens.

They will over another one loss team, however. Not many undefeated teams left, and they're dropping like flies.

For a long time. The Regents and University President love him, as during his tenure Georgia has gone from an academic joke (thank you Vince Dooley and Jan Kemp) to a really good University that's actually hard to get in. Academic Research dollars make SEC money pale by comparison.

Also helps that he's Georgia's winningest coach, with the exception of the Hershel years (best player a trans am ever paid for), Dooley's record actually sucks.

Truth be told, the Regents and University could care less if Georgia never wins another National Championship. As long as CMR occasionally wins the East, and sometimes the SEC, while not having any scandals, he's here for life.

Iowa up on tOSU early in the game. Buckeyes Roby ejected from the game for targeting an Iowa receiver deep in OSU territory. Home fans livid but replay shows it was a good call. Only fires up remaining Buckeye defense though. Hold the Hawkeyes to a field goal. Score now 10-3 Iowa. Looks like another good game to watch.

looks like the horrendous play calling is continuing with OU, Kansas is just dominating them midway thru 2nd qtr. Jayhawks up 13-0

someone needs to step up now that OU has lost 3 or 4 starters to injuries for the season

What an absolutely poor display of football. Our offensive line I guess decided to stay in Gainesville. Our coaches my god. What an absolute piss poor called game. I mean your FIRST TD of the game (first td in like 10 QTRS of football!!) Comes at the hands of the #1 recruit in the nation Kelvin Taylor running the ball all over Mizz.. So what do you do the next drive you get the ball? THE SAME CRAP THAT HAS FAILED FOR 10 QTRS of football... DEAR WILL I dont care how much you want FLA to be a ground and pound football team, WE DO NOT HAVE THE LINE FOR IT! So stop! Build your offense to work with the players you have, do not try to make your players work to the offense you want. That is not how it works!

No, the defense didn't give up 35 points, but it was an overall dominate game by an Alabama team that honestly didn't play that well overall.

Defense was the name of the game for both teams, with special teams making the difference. Even if you throw out the special teams points though, Bama still would have won 21-10

Alabama played as good as they have played all year, every sports caller has said if you can't honestly say that VT didn't play a very good defensive game against Alabama and so far against better teams than any other higher defensive ranking team then you are blind. The idea of Alabama likely winning the game regardless of special teams was prob fair but keep in mind one play redone from someone jumping into the past with a time machine could change the outcome of the whole game but here we are talking about nonsense so really doesn't matter - stats are what mattered in that game and Alabama was held to under 100yards rushing the first time in the last 4 years since LSU did it during that field goal party they had.

Subject now is that VT meets Miami on Nov9th bringing with them a top 5 defense that Miami has yet to see. My only grip about this game is that it is once again Miami home turf when it should have been in Blacksburg but thanks to the ACC's ignorance and bringing in Pitt/Syracuse they had to do it this way when I'm sure they could have found another way to avoid messing up the home and home flop.

Already planning my trip, aside from the shoe I've always wanted to go to South Bend and that game is a few years away as well. Even more excited that OSU comes to Blacksburg during a labor day night game so you best make the trip its an atmosphere like no other for a night game at Lane Stadium.
