Alabama played as good as they have played all year, every sports caller has said if you can't honestly say that VT didn't play a very good defensive game against Alabama and so far against better teams than any other higher defensive ranking team then you are blind. The idea of Alabama likely winning the game regardless of special teams was prob fair but keep in mind one play redone from someone jumping into the past with a time machine could change the outcome of the whole game but here we are talking about nonsense so really doesn't matter - stats are what mattered in that game and Alabama was held to under 100yards rushing the first time in the last 4 years since LSU did it during that field goal party they had.

I'm sorry, that's as bad a game as they have played overall this season.

I'm also sorry if that doesn't jive with your recollection.

There were great bright spots, special teams and defense were great, and VA tech played great D. Ain't no doubt about that. Still, as I pointed out earlier.....

However, there was no question to anyone besides jaded VA tech fans how lopsided it really was.

The only thing I highlight about that game was a great Defensive performance from VT - the rest has been corrected some of it slowly since that game, that is all I have to say about it.

I never disputed VA techs defense in the game, and even praised it. Even while pointing out that in spite of it, it wasn't enough.

Already planning my trip, aside from the shoe I've always wanted to go to South Bend and that game is a few years away as well. Even more excited that OSU comes to Blacksburg during a labor day night game so you best make the trip its an atmosphere like no other for a night game at Lane Stadium.

Yup, Buckeye fans will PACK the place !

Auburn and A&M are all tied at 24. It's beyond belief how good the A&M offense is and how horrible their defense is.

The last two Buckeye plays were very interesting ... Braxton on a scramble for a 1st down and Hyde for a TD run.

Iowa had not given up a Rushing TD this year ... Hyde now has 2.
