Michigan has been riding on a horse shoe all year - it was about time it caught up with them not the conservative play calling or missed opportunities.
on a side note - loving the upsets tonight!
Stanford goes down to an unranked Utah. Georgia has it's 2nd loss. Two top 10 dropouts right there, or should be.
I think you may be right. After looking again, I see only 4 teams that, if they all win, Stanford should fall below.Stanford will drop, but I think they will still be 10 or right in that area.
Yeah that was all lsu.

And to think, Michigan was up by 10 points late ...
This hurts the Buckeyes big time, that and the Wisconsin beating Northwestern badly, maybe not as bad as it could have if Wisconsin moves back into the polls as high or higher than NW was.
You see why us SEC guys root for other SEC teams?

Those questions about the offense certainly got exposed. I am so over this Will Muschamp/Brent Pease i-formation boring football type playing. I get it that it works IF and only IF you can dominate the line of scrimmage. But if you are out matched at the line you lose every time. Why does the offense not get changed up if the O-Line is obviously out matched? I mean out defense can only take us so far. They Held LSU to there fewest points, fewest yards, fewest dam near everything of any team all season. Our Defense basically shut down the best offense statistically in the SEC.. Hold them to 17 points. Hold Mettenberger to his lowest QBR of the season, the defense absolutely dominated. But if the offense cant score more then two dam field goals you will never win a game. BRING BACK THE FUN AN GUN!! BRING BACK THE SPREAD!! That is FLA football...
Yea we still dominated the clock as we do 34min to 25min but if you cant punch it in, in the red zone what does that matter?
Our QB had -13 yards rushing.. If that does not tell you our O-Line was dominated and yet Mushcamp still thought it was a good idea to run the rush attack I am just mind boggled. And as far as rushing goes Sorry Mack Brown you just are not cutting it for us. We put in the freshman Kelvin Taylor (#1 over all recruit) and he shows you up. Step up or step down. Getting out shined by a freshman who sees very little in game play, time to see the writing on the wall Will and make the change.
Will Muschamp has put together an amazing defense. Best in the SEC Id bet. But he just can not coach an offense for anything. Maybe its Brent Pease whos at fault? Will was brought in because he knows defense. He studied under Saban for crying out loud. Brent was brought in because of what he did with Boise but we all know Boise was an anomaly with that stud that had at QB.. Get rid of Pease, and we will give you another year or two Will to see if he was the problem or you.
That Swiss cheese defense of the Aggies is allowing Ole Miss to stay toe to toe with the A&M offense. This could be the last team with the ball wins. Fun game. Geaux Rebels!
LolMore of that great sec defense on display again this game ....
Looks that way. The one drive Ole Miss needed to move the ball, they dropped two passes in a row and threw the last one two yards short of a first. Aggies drive down the field easily and win on a field goal 41-38. It would be interesting to see how many SEC teams have given up 41 or more points this season.A&M gonna hang on to win this game.
Drive for a FG on the last drive.
Insider, I'm not sure if you got to pay close attention with the wedding and all, but today the Tiger offense did an above average job facing their first decent defense this season. They rushed for 175 yards, passed for 152, for a total of 327, and would've likely scored 23 to 31 points had Mett, without being touched, not simply dropped the ball on one drive deep in Florida territory, and the Tigers not taken a knee in the redzone with over a minute left in the game. Granted they didn't put up the numbers as in previous games, but LSU bested that amazing Gator defense a good 3 out of 4 quarters, and had them worn out near the end. Say what you will to make yourself feel better. The LSU offense certainly wasn't dominated.
You're correct about one thing however. I just read where today was the first time LSU has held Florida out of the endzone since 1979, and with one of the lesser defenses the Tigers have had in some time. The Gators definitely have issues when it comes to Muschamp's inability to produce an offense.
