NCAA 2013 Football Season

Looks that way. The one drive Ole Miss needed to move the ball, they dropped two passes in a row and threw the last one two yards short of a first. Aggies drive down the field easily and win on a field goal 41-38. It would be interesting to see how many SEC teams have given up 41 or more points this season.

A lot more than any season I can remember.

Now, The U has an undeserved top 10 ranking. Im gonna hope the HC drills in their head they have not proved anything yet.

I hope they stay up there too for as long as they can however UNC has shown to be tricky and you know they will likely get their asses handed to them by FSU well ahead of the VT game which IMO should have been up here in Blacksburg but the stupid addition of Syracuse and Pitt had them right back down there this year...very lame.

Don't assume....they were supposed to "get their asses handed to them" by the Gators. I am willing to let the game be played....not let my enthusiasm get the best of me like some here.

Well that's why you play the game, same reason Stanford is now scratchin their heads but hey anything can happen and happen in any game.

They certainly did when you compare it to the other games the tigers have played. 327 yards is nothing. Specially when you consider that FLA is #1 in the sec in not allowing yards and the previous best against FLA this year was 275.. You did 52 more yards than the next best team did. Yet you have been avging 271 passing yards (held to 152 the lowest all season), also just under your rush avg as well. Held to 17 points (we can play the what ifs all we want, like what if that pass interfernce call against purify didnt get called as it should not have, and your drive died there instead of keeping it alive and letting you score that final td) but still your next lowest game was 35 points.. I am not saying the better team did not win. Because they did. It takes more than defense to win, you have to at least have some semblance of an offense. LSU has a decent defense and a great offense. FLA has a piss poor offense and a great defense. LSU dominated FLAs oline like they were playing some big 10 team... Adn yet out coach well.. Les Miles for all his faults at least knows when something is not working to STOP doing it.

Florida's defense was the toughest LSU has faced this season, I'll give you that. But they weren't dominate. The Tigers moved the ball when needed to stay ahead and secure the win, just like Miami did, the only other ranked team the Gators have played this year.

Yea we also held Miami to there lowest yards and scores of the season as well.. The defense is without question dominate. But when your offense can not score more than 2 field goals, your defense really has its work cut out for them.

Missouri deserves alot of credit for their big win saturday, but I wonder how long they will stay ranked with the QB essentially out for the season.

With the way Georgia's defense "held" Tennessee and Missouri, y'all might have a field day in Jacksonville.

Or perhaps when a decent offense gets an early lead on the Gators, the play more conservative, avoid mistakes and run out the clock. It's not like they have to worry about the Gator offense, as bad as you say it is.

All I'm saying is a lot of factors come into play. It's not just "the Gator defense absolutely dominated." But, I would hang my hat on that Gator defense if I were you too. They are good. Good luck against Missou. I'll be pulling for a Gator win in that one.

I didn't mean to say we didn't get our ass kicked. ;)

And yea I have to hang my hat on our defense, its the only thing that has kept us from falling off the map. I have hope for this new QB we have lets just hope we can find a new coach who knows how to run an offense.

Will it ever end ?

Oregon to wear Pink helmets, socks and cleats ...
At what point is this overkill? I support cancer research, but this is quickly becoming a gimmick and a joke, especially when there are more common and deadly cancers/diseases out there.

I was referring to the 700 different uniforms that Oregon has.
