. Nothing to do with growing up its about being a "Family" which means you do things with what the others enjoy but that is a full year thing so I have football, she has other things, and my kid has things that all get done at some point or enjoyed.

I agree. While obviously I like to "talk big" as a sports fan, my family comes first.

That said, it's a two way street, and they understand that. There is very little that I ask.

Planned events that don't conflict with football are one of those few.

For instance. My wife gave me two choices on what Saturday to have my kids birthday party. I pulled up the calendar looked, and saw that one was the day of the sec championship game. I picked the other. Now, I get two special days with my daughter, as she loves watching Bama football with me. It's our "thing" this time of year.

So we will do that one Saturday and her party the next. (yep, I am already planning on us being there ;) )

However if it had to conflict, I'd deal with it. It's my kid.

Missouri putting it on Georgia right before half time. 28-10 two minutes left in the half. Looks like Georgia is about to score.

And as I spoke, fumble and Missouri recovers.

I was afraid texas would come out on high after getting spanked the last 2 years and ou play calling sucks. They have totally abandoned the run again

UT opening a can of whoopass on OU. I guess Mack wants to keep his job. :) Still a two score game though midway through the third.

Blake Bell is inexperienced as a passing qb and ou should be running the ball but hell I guess Josh Huepel knows better

Looks like the Dawgs are going down. Who would've thought Missouri would have one of the better looking
defenses in the SEC...a Big12 transfer.

Who would have thought this far in, that Missouri would be the only undefeated team in the SEC-East.

Oklahoma's QB was a former RB. Seriously, when your signal-caller used to do another position, you're not gonna go great distances.

Which QB is that? Bell has been a QB since highschool. He is not a drop back passer though, and unfortunately Josh Heupel can't get that thru his thick head with his crappy play calling.

Well Missouri won, but lost their starting qb for the season with a separated shoulder.

Looks like the LSU defense finally showed up. :) Tigers win it 17-6. Game not really as close as the score indicated though. LSU QB uncharacteristically dropped the ball on what looked like a sure scoring drive, and the Tiger O took a knee in the redzone at the end. Good win. Much tougher games to come.
