NBA 2008-09 Season

LeBron gets 51, Cavs win the division title, but here's what surprises me- they needed overtime against a Kings team that, IMO, is possibly the worst team in the West.

Hooray! Cavs win, Cavs win! We clinched the Central! First time since 1975-1976!

Huddle up boys, we've still got much to accomplish this season. We're not done yet....

John Davidson, owner of the Pistons, died yesterday at the age of 86. I never met him, but I have friends who worked for him, and they called him the finest person in the world to work for. Don't know what this means for the Pistons. I'm hoping the team will remain in family control. Great owner, who has brought the Pistons to prominence in the NBA. I'm sure he will be missed, by all that knew him.

Paul, my condolences to the Pistons' faithful. :(

Sabres, the Kings are coached by ex-Cavs assistant Head Coach, Kenny Natt. Natt knows this Cavs team better than anyone. This probably explains why both of the Cavs/Kings games have been so close this year.

Rough week or so for the Detroit faithful:

Hall Of Fame coach Chuck Daly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.....

Mrs. Hockey passes.....

and now the Pistons lose their classy owner. :(

R.I.P. Mr. Davidson

Cavs go 3-0 on the roadtrip, but I got it wrong.

I said they'd have a tough game against Phoenix and blow out the two cellar-dwellers. Got it mixed up- they had a hard time with the two bottom-feeders

great game today between the heat and the jazz. 3 ot's . Wade had 50 points and was 1 assist away from a triple double. we needed this win with the road games that are coming up.

While today is all about college hoops, there was a big NBA occurence that can't be ignored:

D-Wade scored 50 points in a triple overtime win over the Utah Jazz!

and as i posted above,1 assist away from a tripe double. he also became the all time leading scorer for the heat which is only appropriate.

Dwade is just something this year, isn't he?
He will not let his team lose so easy :).

it's funny how every time he sits on the bench to rest , things fall apart like leads.today it happened again. when he's going to the bench to get a breather, we're in the lead.by the time he comes back in we're losing. without him the HEAT would be going nowhere this season. HE IS THE HEAT.

...no Rey, he is THE MVP.:yes

The coolest part....every time either Wade or Lebron does something big, the other almost seems to out do the other. Reminds me of when there was the back and forth between Sammy Sosa and Mark McGuire for the home run title.

...and quietly lurking like a shark.....is Kobe.

Looks like the media is trying to make this a two horse race. But DAMN it fun as hell to watch!
