That was a heck of a win over Georgia. I bet the dawg fans wish they could crawl under a rock now. :D

I was down in Georgia last week for Thanksgiving. My poor father (big UGA fan, as was I until going to Tech) turned the TV off when Tech tied the game. He said it was over then, since Ga had no defense. I convince him to turn it back on and suffer the way I suffered the last 7 years.

With Tech having such a young team, and Stafford & Moreno probably going pro, it doesn't look good for him next year either. :D

It is so unfortunate that the best team in the ACC, IMO, couldn't even win its own division.

I hope Tech wins big while VaTech is relegated to some lower-tier bowl.

I'm sorry I missed it. I was in visiting in Charlotte with my family and they didn't even air the game there. WTF? They also didn't have the Florida-FSU game on there either. You'd think two ACC teams would get their games shown in NC but apparantly not.

WBTV-CBS in Charlotte is also the Charlotte Raycom affiliate, so they chose to show the Raycom Miami @ NC State game instead of the CBS National game of Ga Tech @ Georgia.

being that NC State is an instate team, I can see why they chose it.

As for Florida vs. Florida St, they chose the Maryland vs. Boston College game instead, probably since Maryland is closer. The Florida vs. Florida St. game was still on ESPN2 though, you could have watched it there.

That can't be a fun bowl trip for the Ga Tech players. They can just walk to the Georgia Dome from campus.

After going to the oh-so-prestigious Emerald Bowl and Humanitarian Bowl, Tech will be pleased to go to a REAL bowl game.

I'm sure they'll be happy with the bowl game. But the festivities leading up to it will be anticlimactic. It would be like winning a vacation to the town you live in.

Should not have lost 3 conference games including VA Tech game. We got lucky with FSU. If it was not for a fumble on our goal line by FSU we would not have even tied for the conference.
