MLB 2013 Season

Because Only AZ has more good weather days than Denver. Denver has the second most sunny days of all the baseball teams.

Plus you will block the nice view of the mountains.

Ted Lilly makes his first start in a year and did well. Pitched 5 innings, 6 Ks, and 1 run allowed.

OK... Last night, I saw the latest "Real Sports" on HBO. And the had Loria's stooge and son-in-law, Sampson on.

OK, THIS might get me a 3 day vacation, but I have to vent:

What douche-bag, Napolean-complex having, rat turd underwear stain that little sonofbitch liar he is!:rant::mad::mad:

I ALMOST kicked my brand new 55-inch LG Google TV with my steel tip size 11s boots! I was FURIOUS with just about every word. Bryant Gumble went after him hard... and the smug little bastard....AARGGHHH!!

Games have started around the first of April for as long as I can remember.

It is nice having the Dodgers A ball stadium near my house. I can see the occassional major league player on a rehab assignment for very little money without having to go very far.

Here is Hanley Ramirez playing for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes

I'm the same way with the Tigers, AAA is in Toledo, 35-40 minutes away ... thats probably shorter than your trip in actual traveling time if I remember LA traffic .... :)

No LA traffic for me. I live just a few miles from the Quakes stadium (AKA The Epicenter). Both the quakes stadium and my house are in the Inland Empire.

Of course, when I go to a Dodgers game I hit LA traffic. I am 40 miles from LA and it can take over an hour to get there. I am 20 miles from Anaheim Stadium and it takes about 20 minutes for that trip.

Lackey is rolling. After walking two and giving up a run in the first, he has now retired twelve straight batters on just 35 pitches through five. He could get a complete game the way he is rolling right now.

Kershaw pitches, yet another gem, and gets to win thanks to Carl Crawford hitting 2 solo HRs. The only two runs in the whole game.

Kershaw:
8 IP
12 Ks
0 BBs
4 hits

Rookies of the Year just announced. No surprises

AL Rookie of the Year
Mike Trout - Angels

NL Rookie of the Year
Bryce Harper - Nationals

So did Performance or Hype win the award for Harper this year ?

Harper is a genuine can-do. He was better than his numbers. He was a young Kirk Gibson, but with more talent.

Code:
[B]NAME GP AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI TB BB SO SB BA

Mike Trout 24 99 13 26 8 1 2 12 42 11 23 4 .263
