MLB 2012 Postseason

Danny Espinosa was called out on this play:

That's as bad as the Jerry Meals call in the Yankee/Baltimore game.

Lots of pop ups for the tigers early tonight.

They've hit several balls well...just need a few to drop. Speaking of dropping...Fielder has been hitting the ball well, but he has been the victim of several good fielding plays this series. Hopefully we'll get some balls to fall this evening and park a couple in the bleachers. Scherzer looks good early.

There we go. A couple line drives and we're on the board first for the first time this series.

Yanks just tied it up in the bottom of the 9th with a pinch hit home run. Ibanez was batting for A-Rod.

WOW!!! Girardi pinch hits Ibanez for A-Rod in the top of the 9th......and BOOM!!! Tie Game

Just more late inning postseason magic in the Bronx!!

I tell you the Orioles had chances with the bases loaded and didnt score. One thing about the Yankees. You have to score as many runs as possible. You cant say "Well, 3 runs are enough or 2 runs are enough." You could have the greatest pitching in the world and it doesnt matter.

If I'm the opposition, I would NEVER feel safe playing in the Bronx in the postseason..........not until the 27th out has been made. It's been proven time and time again.....the only thing that changes is the cast.

Thats what Im saying. No lead is safe against the Yankees. I'll be honest, Im not even watching the Yankees. I cant, too nerve racking. Its like if I turn the Yankee game on and there scoring then I switch the channel. If the Orioles are winning and I'm not watching the game, then I won't watch it because I dont want to jinx the Orioles. I know, its crazy. I also did this during the 2003 ALCS and it didnt work.

Nice 5 pitch inning by Scherzer. He is setting himself up to go deep into tonight's game.

I hope so. So far, so good. Of course, we kind of blew a golden opportunity last inning with two on and nobody out. That double-play was an inning killer because Cabrera is going to lead off once again...he needs some runners on base. Go Tigers!

He had Jackson on in front of him and didn't get it done .... :(

Always nice to see the GOOD things NFL players do
