Hopper 3 software version 389

You might try this: Unplug your Hopper from power. Next unplug the EHD. Now plug the Hopper back in and let it reboot. After reboot plug the EHD back in. Hopefully you see the media device plugged in slate pop up.

Not sure if it was this update, but when it was storming here last night, when i hit the guide button, at the bottom in blue it said " sat signal lost, click select to see streaming channels" . That is the first time i have sen that. Also when in the guide it showed if my ota channel was receiving a signal or not.

I don't know is 389 caused this but I noticed I can't transfer any shows on my EHD back to my hopper 3. I can watch shows that are on my EHD but I can't transfer them. I can transfer a show from my hopper 3 to the EHD though.

That's the Signal Protector that switches to Streaming for many channels if you lose satellite signal
