Danny Espinosa was called out on this play:

I was hoping the Reds and Giants would be over in 3. Now it looks like it is going to be a 5 game series. So much for home field advantage.

Hopefully the Reds can clobber them in Game 5.

MLB is really clueless when it comes to the postseason schedule. There are two potential winner take all games tomorrow, and MLB schedules them in the two worst windows (1:00pm ET for Giants-Reds and 9:30pm ET for Tigers-A's). Meanwhile, the two game 4's get the 4:00pm ET game (Cardinals-Nationals) and the 7:30pm ET game (Orioles-Yankees).

You would think that MLB would have made the two game 5's a priority with the schedule.

Will the Tiger fan club be in full force this evening? Although I get up extremely early in the morning, the team needs me tonight. :)

I'll be here all night. It got pretty quiet around here in during the last few innings last night.

Right. They should be showcasing the drama of the game 5's, although I'm hoping the tigers series doesn't come to that. They obviously have some data that shows their best ratings come from the Yankees even when there are more important games on.

I get up at 4:00 AM so there was no way I could stay-up that late after getting a flu-shot in the afternoon. Regardless, I was going to stay up and the entire game tonight, but I just noticed the game starts at 9:37 vice 9:07 PM. It looks like I'll be sticking around for 4 or 5 innings and then it's lights out. :(

Interestingly, if both the Orioles-Yankees and Cardinals-Nationals series go to a game 5 on Friday, the O's-Yankees game will be at 5:00pm and the Cards-Nats in primetime.

Kinda sad to see the Nats going down so meekly. They fought so hard all season long.

There's still two games to be played in Washington. Go Nats!

You wonder how much of Stephen Strasburg being shut down has to do with it. I would think he would make a difference if he was pitching.

They will never move the Yankees out of prime time even if there are two game 5's. Tigers/A's and Reds/Giants are not sexy matchups compared to the Yankees. The Yankees have always been that way.

I don't think so. He did not pitch very well the 2nd half of the season and the team managed to win 98 using the entire team. Could he help? Sure, but the team has enough talent to win without him in the rotation IMO.

Always nice to see the GOOD things NFL players do
